I haven't seen this mentioned elsewhere.
The BBBoC have put this out for purse bids to take place by the end of November.
Who do people fancy for this?
Fury within four rounds.

I mentioned this on another thread the other day. I'd like to see the fight and I think it's a good match-up for Fury at the moment. That said, I think Fury would still take him out in 6 or less but this is the level of opposition Fury is at at the moment, IMO.

Nice fight - I've decided to get on the Fury wagon, so I will go for a hard fought Fury victory. McDermott is tripe but is still substantially better than anyone else Fury has fought.
It will be hard work early doors for Fury, because McDermott is established as an upper echelon domestic fighter and might rough him up a bit. However, I fully expect Fury to thrive under the pressure and personally I think he has the ability to look more impressive against better opponents.

This is a good fght for fury, mcdermott will make a fight of it, but expect fury to do a number on him :bbb
Fury by stoppage. If Fury sets a high pace McDermott will fold

It will be hard work early doors for Fury, because McDermott is established as an obese, embarrassing piece of shit disgrace to British boxing and might eat him up.

I'm a big fan of Fury, just hope this doesn't finish in round 1/2, PR around him will be crazy! Although I can't actually see that happening myself I'll still go with Fury to stop him inside the distance, agreed with Fleaman tbh.

Regardless of what I think of McD (fat cunt), he is a significant step up for Fury
McDermott sucks man. I've very rarely seen a boxer scared to throw punches.
Fury will Skelton him, take it to the bank.

Well Rogan vs Sexton II is an eliminator for the British title, so the way I see it going is;
Chisora beats Williams
Rogan beats Sexton
Fury beats McD
Rogan beats Chisora
Fury vs. Rogan for the British and Commonwealth titles

I love the pikey giant- he should do McDermott within 3 rounds- one of those body shots will make Big John's belly wobble and bring up his pre-fight McDonalds

Fury to win. Glad this fight is happening, we were at the stage no one domestically wanted to fight the lad. Mcdermott has to fight him

Fury will absolutely kill the out of shape Mcdermott on workrate alone. Expect an early stoppage in the third round.

Williams will smash Chisora to bits, even now. Banks did better against Butlin than Chisora did :good

I think that Danny would have too much for Chisora at this stage

add the irish title to that aswel , fury beats the lot of them imo but rogan will be his toughest test
purse bids by end of november, which means the fight won't take place until around feb 2010?
fury will have had several more fights by then and will possibly be already beyond the kind of level big fat john operates at.

This would be a good step up for Tyson if the fight was to happen now, but like Rooq says, the fight probably won't happen until early next year.
Fury will smash Fat John to bits anyway, A tall, athletic prospect against a fat, useless never-has-been. I will enjoy seeing Fat John hitting the canvas though, can't stand the lazy fat git.

Williams is finished in my eyes, he doesn't train, has a crap corner and Chisora (as much as I dislike him) will be the first real opponent he has had in ages.

Fury is on the July 18th York Hall bill along with the Cleverly vs McIntosh fight so I see this fight happening in late September/ early October.
Fury is already too good for McDermott so I'm going for a 2nd round KO.
