I see distance between Louis, Ali and Lewis, but I think he is in one of the next three births.
Got to love that dummy calling Tommy Farr "English".
"Magical dance"

Welsh.
Ah well most welsh support english football teams, even internationals and to me theres not much distinction between the 2 countries, unlike the Scots, of which I am one :)
But well spotted. What about Bob Fitzsimmons, wasnt he more alligned to being a New Zealander when he was champ than english?

You can call Fitz an American too, if you like, he took on citizenship and wore the colours to the ring.

Can't understand why they were bringing up the Amateur fight with Bowe. Doesn't mean a thing.
Great Heavyweight, has to be a lock for the top 10. Anywhere outside the top 5 for me.

If you are familiar with Sky boxing coverage they do tend to mention a lot of irrelevant facts.
They aren't above bending the truth in order to suit themselves either..... Oscar was #7 on their P4P list prior to the Pac fight, yet wasn't on it when Hatton fought Floyd.....
Listening to them now though you wouldn't think he (Lennox) existed!

I think top 5 is probably fair. While he had a couple of bad losses to lesser fighters, he is one of the few men who has the claim to beating every man he ever faced. He also joins the fraternity of Ali and Louis in terms of beating the largest number of ranked heavyweights, though Ali and Louis are still higher. He also fought in an era where being a heavyweight meant being a very big man, and convincingly dispatched a vast number of big heavys with impressive records..

Great video, I have him #4 all time heavyweight behind Rocky Marciano, Joe Louis and Muhammad Ali. He beat Donovan Ruddock tko 2, Tony Tucker 117-111 ,116-112 , 118-111, Frank Bruno tko 7, Tommy Morrison tko 6, Ray Mercer 96-94 , 96-95 |, 95-95 (close fight), Oliver McCall tko 5 (avanged a loss and reganed his tittle), Henry Akinwande dq 5, Andrew Golota ko 1, Shannon Briggs tko 5, Evander Holyfield 116-112, 117-111, 115-113 (avenged a draw), Michael Grant ko 2, Francois Botha tko 2, David Tua 117-111, 119-109, 118-110 , Hasim Rahman ko 4 (avanged a loss), Mike Tyson ko 8 snd Vitali Klitschko tko 6. Riddick Bowe is missing from his resume but that is not his fault.

Lennox is top 5 for me a great champion
But skill wise i dont think he is nothing great but he uses his size and natural talent to his best thats why he ranks highly H2H with me

I still laugh at the Sky commentators picking Tyson....
Who had Tyson beat since coming out of jail?
Who did Tyson beat that was prime and world class before going to jail?
Ruddock excepted?

Now I disagree here.
Look at Lewis going through oponents who he did not enjoy physical advantages over in terms of height and reach (say Grant or Klitschko) and you get the idea that his mental wiring and reflexes were on another level for a fighter of such inches.

One of the finest heavyweights ever in terms of elite ability and effectiveness. Pair that up with being one of the greatest achievers the division has ever known and you simply have one of the greatest fighters the division has ever known.

I'm not saying he was terribly skilled. I mean terms in technical abilities of boxing in lower weights etc... Lewis boxed to his natural talents and size is one of those. He used his advantages to counteract his opponnets.
So in terms of technical skills he isnt great but he uses his advantages.
If skillwise you think hes nothing great, than you must think vitali klitschko is shit, skill wise.
i dont rate Vitali that high skillwise if you look at Lewis, Vlad, Vitali they are nothing skill wise to Louis, Ali, Tyson, Patterson, Liston etc..
