I would suggest going faster on the rope, and doing lateral jumps, and if you search for footwork drills they have some pretty good ones where you lay a rope on the floor and jump from side to side in a certain way, it was posted here before but i didnt watch the whole thing but it seemed decent so i dont remember to well.

Speed is what you need. Greasy fast, lightning speed...
