Do you wear extra protection under your handwraps? Knuckle guards, foam, sponge, gauze or do you simply wear extra long handwraps?

Your advice please....:bbb

Horseshoes

Seriously, no I don't. Why, do your hands hurt?

Knuckle guard, longer wraps help too. It could be your gloves, make sure they aren't worn down.

Get some new gloves then, you could be causing serious damage to your hands

Yh iv got some coming in the post, some RBK ones for now. Then if i start serious sparring im gonna invest in a pair of sparring gloves.

So il have RBK gloves for bag work
And whatever for sparring.

Today was hopefully my last session with the gym gloves ( 6 in total ) and i have had bruising in my hand, not so much my knuckles but the bones in my hand. I think thats because im rolling my wrist on the bag or im not connecting properly but im improving my technique week by week.

Im still going to add extra protection when i get my first pair of gloves !! purely for piece of mind and the fact that i can go hammer and tongue on the heavy bags and not have to worry about injury !! ( thats if im connecting properly) :thumbsup
