This season definitely has the best fighters and you know no one is going to pull the "Oh, it's just a Contender star like Manfredo" shit when names like Sam Soliman and Sakio Bika have to be beaten in order to be the Contender this time around.
Good post. This is what they should have done all along. That way if a prospect comes through you know they are pretty good.

I noticed they all have pretty good records, but then again, its not too hard to find some tomato cans around the place. Solimans record was probably the worst of them all but his level of competition seems to be a bit better.
I watched the last season of this and have a pretty good record of tipping the fighter to be eliminated. Will try and keep my record this year going.

Saw it last nite and enjoyed it pretty well. the one trainer is pretty high on smith's chances of winning the whole thing. The trainer said twice Smith could win it

Could be some interesting non fights things aswell... i reckon it will be interestin to see how Sakio and Sam train around each other and stuff since Sam already holds a win over Sakio

I'm worried that Sammy will get a dud decision early. Otherwise he should be top 4 (from what I've seen) but may struggle with the size of Bika and Codrington. Just a shame he's fighting at 168 when he should be at 160 or even 154.
