Eder Jofre was a vegetarian. Does anyone know if he was a completely clean living man?

Ricky Hatton has the day off while we debate this one.

Ironic when you consider what happened to him later.

Yes he did, and was not short of vices, but for some reason he had a bing hang up about alchohol and tobaco. He even turned down lurative offers to lend his name to alchohol and tobaco products.

Gene Tunney was a clean living teetotaler who drank milk mostly (he advocated it) but in later years was a troubled man and became an alcoholic. Tommy Loughran was, on the other hand, a clean living devout Catholic.

Gene and Don Fullmer are Mormons. There have been plenty of Muslims like Ali who have laced them up.

John 'The Iceman' Scully never drank alcohol in his life, and at age 45 (?) he still spars 12 rounders.

Joe like the booger sugar in later years. I don't care about it. He got shafted and deserved whatever recreation he desired.

Louis became less particulart about what products he would endorse after the IRS took all his money off him.

He also sunk deep into vices of all descriptions later in life. A shame given that he started out his career as a nice god fearing teatotal boy.

I guess that fame breaks everybody in the end.

That particular vice was his undoing.

It basicaly led to him getting drawn into the world of drugs and everything that flows from it.

If you sleep around close to the gutter you get drawn into the gutter.

Probably anybody who is known for their conditioning. Except for very ironically, Armstrong, who used it to gain weight.

He had Lena Horne and Sonje Heinie as two notches on his d**k , plus half the girls in the Cotton Club, numerous starlets , etc . pretty good perks I think.

Yes no light at the end of the tunnel there. His wife even adopted a couple of the kids he sired out of wedlock.
