Bob Arum says he is building towards this fight at Featherweight. Should take place within a year or two.
In that time they could hold multiple titles at SBW and FW.
I see this as one of the most attractive fights in the sport. Maybe even another trilogy!!!
Agreed.
I think Lopez is a big favourite amongst many, I'm backing Gamboa.
This could be a fight for the ages. Two supreme talents going head to head.
I think Lopez wins by TKO atm but who know what will happen in the future.

If they are both undefeated going into it, in 2 years there no reason why Lopez couldnt be a champion at Feather and Gamboa could have 2 or 3 belts so make it a unification and for the Ring Title.
Add to that the list of scalps could include Chris John, Israel Vasquez, Rafael Marquez Rocky Juarez.
It could become a mega fight for the 2nd.

This is a superfight for the fans. I predict JuanMa to take Gamboa out early, but while it lasts it will be a great fight, guaranteed.

Gamboa would win. Juanma is all southpaw, awkward power shots. Gamboa would school him.. This fight is one for the ages and could be a true superfight.
I'd go with Lopez now but in a couple of years who knows.

Skills will win this fight Lopez will catch him with a short counter and drop him Gamboa is reckless and against a technical fighter like Lopez will blow him out early unless Gamboa changes his attitude for that fight i see him getting exposed.
