This channel could have such potential, but its scheduling is all over the place. Programmes seem to over run and when I Sky+ them I get a lot of the earlier programme but miss the end of the recorded show. If they could sort themselves out they have quite a lot of boxing and could get better viewing figures.

yeah they are strange alright, can get good fights and good replays and also the worst of the worst euro trash around

Sarcasm?

They are knowledgable granted, but about as exciting as Lennox Lewis was on HBO. Give me Ian Darke and Jim Watt any day of the week over Bob & whatshisface?

They do put on some decent fights though, the Pirog and Hyde card last weekend was better than a lot of Sky's Friday Fight Nights.

They had live swimming on yesterday. Can I ask, who the fuck watches live swimming other than when it is at the Olympics!?

I know it would probably have cost them a tenner to get the rights to that, but a boxing show would get at least 10x more viewers.

The commentry team are great. Hardly ever talk about the boxing and just rip apart the fighters saying how shit each is and how 'it was better in the old days'.

Theres a great scrap on tonight at 8pm, Luis Carlos Abregu v Irving Garcia. Its a real give and take tear up.

Eurosport are pathetic, I don't even know anyone who watches it to be honest.

They should pick up the rights to the Saurland cards and show them live.

Eurosport is awesome at what they do. Low budget, no frills, heavy duty coverage of minority sports.

You cunts are the kind of people who buy a ticket on Easyjet because you're tight and then spend the whole flight complaining that the stewardess hasn't brought you a complimentary glass of champagne.

The tour de france coverage is awesome, two or three guys in the commentary team and they talk for 7 or 8 hours at a time when there is often, literally, nothing happening. Excellent motorsport coverage of stuff no-one else shows, boxing that no-one else shows.

Programmes seem to over run and when I Sky+ them I get a lot of the earlier programme but miss the end of the recorded show

Just set it to record for a longer period then! It's not bloody rocket surgery! :blurp

Last Friday's card from Germany on Eurosport was excellent. Don't think they'd have the cash to show Sauerland or Universum cards, though.

Pirog was brilliant last week. Thought that Kretchmann bloke would have been better.

Yeah, at first I suspected Pirog might lack power, he had his way so completely, but Jantuah really is a piece of granite, probably the perfect guy to get your first 12 rounds in against.

It's the first time i seen Pirog and i also thought he lacked power but some of the shots he hit Jantuah with were cracking shots. Yep Jantuah seems like a decent gatekeeper if he threw more of those big shots in the last round i think he could of dropped Pirog. He got hit with two of them and he felt both. Hope a German promoter uses him more often for going 12 rounds he will definitely bring them there and test there chins

Yeah I think I caught a bit of wrestling once, possibly WCW/TNA? wasnt WWE anyway the commentators just spoke over the top of them while they were doing there whole promo thing, and called every move a "powerslam" hahaha. the one knowledgable guy sounded likme he was about 15

I did reccomend Pirog to you guys in the prospects thread. He's up there with Korobov but nobody believed me!

That would be an awesome fight in the future.

the TNA commentators are annoying as hell, balbbering on non stop reading their scripts, so damn annoying

but that guy from the new japan sounded really cool - as if he was watching a real serious sport, kept making "ooof" sounds whenever a guy did a big move. i googled him for ages but never found out who he was

probably my favourite ever commentator :)

Yeah I liked sommentators that kept it serious... even if the whole concept of wresatling is a little silly. It was TNA I watched that time I think(WCW was gone by that point I think), but it wasn't the regular commentators, was British ones.
