Dear Ricky,

the backlash from your fans after the Pacman fight,myself included, has been a bit out of order. Who are we to tell a 45 fight veteran whether or not he should be fighting again?

If you feel you have it in you and want to carry on then you have my support 100%, you must however be fighting for the right reasons.

Fights with Forbes at this stage of your career proves nothing,it's a fight which fails to capture the fight fans imagination and in my opinion is a terrible way to bow out....Truely terrible.

This especially when you have the 2 obvious domestic fights out there waiting and other interesting match ups with the likes of Bradley and Campbell.

One last wish ... if you are to fight on, please consider leaving Jennifer at home this time because even as a massive fan of yours,watching her 'ringside reaction' at the Pac fight was almost as bad as watching the fight itself.

I didnt believe it at the time, but i just looked at hatton's weigh-in pictures from the paulie and pac fights, and he has clearly outgrown 140 it happens in age sometimes of fighters.....and hattons lifestyle and going down to 140 has weakened his power...he did stop paulie, but he hasnt KO'D anybody since castillo.....i agree if he decides to fight on 147 is the best move....

Well said, i remember following my brother whern he played football for macclesfield town, i used to follow the teams progress on there site, and there was one guy called PETEMACC who reminds me of betty, every post he made was slating the team the manager even the fans, and this was when they had had awin as well, there was nothing that you could reply back to him that would shut him up, in the end i asked very simply why do you come on here because your village obviously misses you, he fucked off after that, and he was one thick twat as well, one day Macclesfield were playing against york, and PETEMACC is shouting fuck off home "SCOUSERS"!!!! he still to this day cannot understand why he has only got one brother but his sister has got Two....
