Panama Al Brown was 5'11" tall with a 76" reach. He started off as a flyweight (112) and ended up as a featherweight (126) and was the Bantamweight Champion of the World (118).

Good shout. I need to watch more of Brown, the man had some serious skills from what I can gather.

Celestino Caballero fits the 'freak of nature' mold IMO.

Monzon was actually 5'-11-1/2", but with a reach of 76", and NOBODY fought taller and utilized reach to the max as well as Monzon. For every guy who is brought up as anequal or better, you'll probably find a "ko-by"..a tko or knockout defeat, that is, on their record.

Panama Al Brown is the fighter I always bring up in these kind of threads. I see he has been mentioned already.

Celestino Caballero is the closest we've got to him today, not skill-wise but physically.
