Yeah, I feel really bad for him - he gets knocked down and also KO'd for the first time in his career, and now he will have to deal with this shit with Shaw and the Corrales estate. Just leave the man alone:-(

I was wrong as well, it was no dive that liver shot will put anyone down. Castillo is done he's had a great career and gave us many memories.

He needs to go up if wishes to continue. He cannot make anything below 147 without totally gassing himself.
That might be true, but I don't want to see him in there against Cotto, Mosley, or Margarito. He would get hurt bad.

And despite what some may think, I think he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

I have thought this for awhile. Castillo has fought at 147 in the past, before dropping back down to 135.

No doubt about it.

The corrales fight alone will put him there, but I agree. Steward's claims of JLC not being elite or HOF material is curious at best.

:good Kellerman was right when he said JLC was a great lightweight
castillo is still good enough to come back and earn a few $ by winning one of the other 140 belts

About time Castillo got what he deserved. All those years of picking on small lightweights. Hatton owned him. :happy

He needs to retire, he will be a journey man at 147.

Castillo is larger than Hatton, in height and weight.
Cotto was feasting upon much smaller 140 pounders for years b4 he moved up, so stop hating.

I was totally wrong about this fight as well. Hatton did the job in good fashion. Castillo looks done to me.

It's admirable of you to say that, but that liver punch would take out anyone, ..CAstillo, though losing, still held his own very well. If that punch to the liver hadn't happen, the results could be as if that cut didn't happen to Vitali= who knows :deal CAstillo is STILL great, and he could right now, beat loads of guys out there.:hi:
If....

Castillo didn't jab enough. And you could tell just by their shape Hatton was the more serious figter. There's no way he should've allowed him to get so close. A couple times in the 2nd and 3rd Castillo delivered punches from a distance. From a distance is the only place he had a chance of winning the fight.

yea, gee, kind of makes PBF's 2 x 12rds vs Castillo look a bit less stellar now, eh?
Considering Castillo done quit today huh?
