View Full Version : You guys REALLY think judah lost cuz low blows?
I just dont quite understand this. We have so many people making judahs loss to cotto because of the low blows... yet i get critisized for saying that about vargas tito? the vargas tito fight was WAY more competetive then cotto vs judah, and he was hit more, and harder in the balls.
that being said.... i am one to believe that in this particular fight, judah would have lost anyways. We saw how judah handled cottos pressure.... and it is the SAME way he handles pressure from EVERY fighter.
He goes into his shell. stops throwing punches. This is who he is.
Imo the lowblows maybe saved cotto from a round or two of being outboxed and maybe hurt, but to me there is no doubt that cotto would have prevailed regardless.
and sorry to bring this up i know its been done to death.

Yes.
Kirk. Tito won because he low blowed Vargas! Just like Cotto did to Judah.
My first post after it happened was. COTTO PULLS A TITO TO BEAT JUDAH!

your a moron he was trying to get to his body to slow em down, no one ever mentions the fact that he did the same to tito, and the tied didn't turn after he did it, suck balls faggot!!!!!
How about you dont double-post and dont say things like "suck balls faggot" to make yourself look like a 12 year old?:hi:

Absolutely not, hes a fighter and he gets hit one punch to the nuts only hurts for so long, and got a point for it so it was even, its just an excuse.

zab hit cotto low a few times, cotto had more dignity than to roll around on the floor like a bitch, zab also headbutted cotto a few times but cotto just shrugged it off and even gave zab a hug after the referee caught judah.
remember the mayweather low blow?? zab hit mayweather way harder but mayweather didn't go rolling around on the floor, he was hurt but he was trying to get up

Nope. Many of you people are very blind and ignorant to the fact that Zab Judah basically won 0 rounds against Cotto other than the 2 rounds or so that he hurt Cotto in. Cotto schooled Judah in that fight yes he schooled him by beating his brains out and manhandled him for 11 rounds. Even the few times that Judah hurt Cotto it barely was enough to win the round! Wake up you dumb asses because Judah realistically only has a punchers chance against Cotto and the while Cotto low blowed Judah in the 1st round and he was hurt, He WASN't hurt when he did the 2nd one! So?????? Zab Judah is an idiot he has no idea how to win rounds and all he honestly does is try to win rounds by landing 1 solid punch. Maybe if Judah was smarter he would have taken a knee at the end of every low blow and tried to conserve all his energy and rest up, INSTEAD of literally diving on the ground rolling around screaming and wasting a fuck load of energy. I have no sympathy for Judah and the only thing Judah will ever have on Cotto is a PUNCHERS CHANCE. All you dumb mother fuckers that said Judah was going to "outbox" Cotto....GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK! :nono

i think he would have lost anyway. usually when you get hit in the balls it hurts for about 5 minutes (so they give you that time). i do not see how getting hit in the sac would affect your boxing performance if it doesn't hurt you during the fight. (unless you were so concerned about getting hit in the nuts again that you just ran away the whole fight)......but still

Yes. Zab losing was cleary due to the low blows! Because as we all know, Zab is a late round fighter and gets stronger as the fight goes on.

It definitely impacted the fight. Fast starter Judah was laid on the canvas with two ruthless low blows. It took some wind out of his sails. Maybe he still would have lost, but I believe it did have a direct impact.

I realize you're being sarcastic, but look at it this way... he is a fast starter who had his early round flurry disrupted by hard low blows.

Taking the point doesn't give him back the juice in his legs and overall energy that he lost.

I don't. I also don't understand where people get this 'Cotto was out on his feet' bullshit. I saw Cotto momentarily stunned by a left uppercut but NOWHERE near being in position to be KO'd.
Fact is, is that Cotto is simply too strong for Judah and would have overpowered him anyway.

You guys REALLY think judah lost cuz low blows?
Nah definitely not.
He lost to Cory Spinks the first time because he's not in shape.
He lost to Baldomir because he overlooked him.
He lost to Mayweather because he lost steam.
He lost to Cotto because of low blow?
Damn these are all career defining fights.
What's next? :patsch

Good post. It would have made NO difference anyway. Watch Pavlik v Miranda. Look at how hard Pavlik was getting hit low and he didn't even flinch. Judah played possum to an extent IMO, although one of the low blows would definitely have hurt. Still, there have been far worse cases of it, where it hasn't really effected the outcome of the fight.
Judah would have lost regardless
Those are the same people that still say Oscar lost to Tito because he ran the last 3 rounds. Ridiculous excuses

he hit em low while he was attacking him, and judah's reaction was a little delayed which leads me to beleive he wasn't that hurt.
Please don't question the legitimacy of the low blows. It's right on tape with perfect angles.

The fact is Judah had Cotto ready to go and Cotto low blowed him. We don't know if Cotto would have survived without the low blows and Judah may have ko'd him.
Judah didn't lose just because of the low blows but he may have won without them AND THE LOW BLOWS WERE HUGE 1s

cotto low blowed judah 30 seconds after judah stunned him with the counter uppercut, by that time he was out of trouble, and judah reacted a few seconds after being hit, and if he was so hurt why didn't he take the full 5 minutes?

low blows reason for loss is very open for debate...If Judah comes back strong against top opposition there can be a sequel, maybe...MSG

turning judah's jewels to dust didn't hurt Cotto's cause but i think he would've taken it either way
