Who was the best fighter in your opinion to come from Holland/The Nederlands ?
I can only think of Raymond Joval, regarding Dutch fighters.
Who else ?

Super Brian Nileson. Bronze medalist, and not a bad boxer for a fat beer drinking white guy. I think he was dutch?

Ruid Koopmans was a long time euro light heavy champ and only lost to EMM in his prime, challenging for his title.
Luc Van Dam..middleweight contender in the 40's and 50's.
There was a Dutch guy who came to Australia in the 30's...He lost twice to a world ranked welter here, named Jack Carroll..I think he beat guys Kid Azteca, Baby Joe Gans and Ceferino Garcia.
I cant remember his name but he would probably be the greatest all things considered.
The only other one I can think of is Tuur..who was WBO superfeather champ for a couple of years.
The Dutch prefer their Muay Thai kickboxing...They are a world power at that.
Oh and dont forget the Dutch Sonny Liston.

I would say it got little better for the Dutch than when Regilio Tuur was around, he was a pretty fair fighter, and for a time, genuine world class.

Rigilio Tuur is the best Dutch boxer in recent times (WBO FW champ in '96), Bep van Klaveren probably all-time. He was recently chosen as greatest Rotterdam (2nd largest city) citizen ever, which is kind of remarkable because a very popular politician called Pim Fortuyn is also from Rotterdam and his popularity was only 5 years ago, yet he got the 2nd spot.
Regilio Tuur, an exciting fighter, has given boxing a pretty bad name recently here. Basically he confirms the entire stereotype: beat up his wife several times, punch drunk and low IQ. I respect what he did in the ring, though.
Raymond Joval, on the other hand, is the easiest going guy you'll ever meet.

;)
I've only seem it mentioned once, so until someone can confirm Harry Greb changing his name from "Berg" [Dutch] to "Greb", it will remain a Dutch pipe dream. :|

Tuur is the only one that immediately springs to mind. KO'd one of the American big hopes in the 1988 Games, Kelcie Banks, in te first round IIRC.
