I have been looking for any info about my dad Archie DeVino.he boxed from 1945 to 1951.he was the NJ Bamtam and Feathweight state amatuer champ. He boxed 14 times in Madison Square Garden.i have photos and the scrapbook my mom made for him.I have many old Ring Record Books and Ring Magazines he is in.He was ranked #10 in the world in 1950.He was elected to the N.J.Boxing Hall of Fame in 1991.He boxed two times on television in 1950 at the old Madidon Square Garden. He beat the top ranked bantamweight Luis Galvanii winning an 8 round decision on September 15,1950.The main event that night was Ernie Durando vs Paddy Young. This win earned him a main event at Madison Square Garden against the Euoropean Featherweight Champ Ray Famechon on December 1,1950.the winner would box Willie Pep for the world title. My dad was TKOD IN 7 RDS.I AM LOOKING FOR THESE TWO FIGHTS THAT WERE TELEVISED ON THE OLD FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS.BILL CAYTONS SON SENT ME THE AUDIO OF THE FAMECHON FIGHT.THE ANNOUNCER WAS DON DUNPHY.MY DAD PASSED AWAY ON JUNE 29,2009.HE HAD HEART AND DIABETES PROBLEMS.HIS FAVORITE SAYING WAS"KEEP PUNCHING".ANY HELP IN FINDING THESE TELEVISED FIGHTS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
