ok guys no matter how knowlegable fan you are, no one ever picks every fight outcome correctly.....fights come and go and we always have opinions....so what fight pick were you the most wrong....ive had my share...but one that comes ot mind is NAZ vs BArrera....

i wanted Barrera to win, but i honestly thought that he was going to fight NAz the way he did against Erik morales 1, i thought Barrera was going to try to go straight at NAz and try to run him over, and EVENTUALLY EATING one of NAzs Atomic bombs and being Kod....i wanted Barrera to win, but at that time..my money was on NAZ....Barrera then Completely switched his style and put on a boxing clinic to actually convincingly win.....i was happy, but lost some cash!...

Hopkins-Tarver.

I thought Hops would be too small and finally show his age.

I'll pick the most recent. Manny Pacquiao vs Erik Morales III, even though I was 100% right with my prediction of the first two fights(Predicted Morales by UD for the first and Pacquiao by stoppage for the rematch but didn't mention any round).

I picked Pac-man to win the first and Morales to win the second. At least I got the third one right.

I would have to say Juhad vs. Baldomir too.

No one even knew who this guy was & Zab was the champ.

Even picked Gatti to beat him - and we see how that went.

I'm terrible when it comes to Lewis fights. I also picked Ruddock over Lewis, Lewis to win the first Rahman fight, and Rahman to win the rematch. I thought Lewis's age had caught up to him.

Unfortunately, I was right when it came to picking Lewis to beat Tyson.

That's one I wish I was wrong about more than any other fight.

The Peter/Wlad match is up there for me too, but my worst pick was Tyson over Lewis Im sure Im not the only one.

I picked Tyson as well, but it was more wishful thinking. I wanted him to win bad....I mean that win would have put him up inside the Top 5 ATG lists.

Recently;

Judah over Cotto. I honestly thought Zab would suprise the masses. I was looking more at Cotto's flaws than I was at Zab's. I figured Miguel is too crude a fighter to get to Zab and Zabs handspeed and power would keep Miguel honest. I was DEAD wrong.

My worst pick recently was Tarver over Hopkins, but the pick I'm most proud of was picking Holyfield to beat Tyson in their first fight. Lewis over Tyson was a no brainer. I don't think I expected Toney to beat Holyfield either.

I'm full of shit. Barrera-Pacquaio and I thought Tyson was less washed up than Holyfield when they first meet. I could probbly think of more if I tried but I wont.

Yeah for sure. Would've been nice to see Lewis KO'd by old Mike. :yep

I would have to go with Lacy-Calzaghe. Calzaghe seemed to me like he was a bit past it and wouldnt be as sharp from those hand injures he's had in the past. Plus; I thought Lacy was a bit too strong for him.

Hummmmmmmmm. I called Quintana to dec. Cotto back then....I called Castillo to beat Hatton(but I did say if he had anything left in my defense...but still a bad pick..) I picked Corrales over Castillo the second fight. I was saying that Tarver would beat Hopkins.lol but did come to my senses and changed my mind a week before the fight...Thats about it....I knew Taylor was not knocking out Spinks for damned sure.

Lacy vs Calzaghe. Calzaghe had a litany of poor performances before this fight and Lacy on the night had a brain meltdown in he had no plan. He failed to jab and was hanging on the one punch KO and he got a real beat down

I can't believe nobody admit they're wrong On Donaire-Darchinyan.

I was arguing Arce would beat Darchinyan as Darchinyan would be pig headed and refuse to stick to a game plan and just go for the KO. Jeff Fenech had fits trying to train Darchinyan as Darchinyan would just ignore him. Darchinyan was a crash waiting to happen

This year it was Castillo over Hatton.

But only because i thought Castillo wasnt that far gone and thought he wasnt as shot as we soon found out.

I thought if the fight goes the distance which i honestly thought it would that Castillo would win on the cards. But after seeing the first 2 rounds i was like Castillo is shot to hell.

This only goes to show that no one, not even the so-called "experts" in boxing, have a monopoly of knowledge. Accurate prediction is the real application or manifestation of knowledge. :hatIts so true i remember watching the Mitchell vs Tszyu fight and Emmanuel Steward who knows his shit was saying Sharmba is going to be to good for a out of the ring 2 years Tszyu.

Mitchell will win pretty easy i remember him saying all because Tszyu was as active as Mitchell had been and just would struggle with Mitchells speed etc etc.

Tszyu blew Mitchell away in 3 rounds.

You can never know for certain.

Liakhovich-Brewster...I didn't think Brewster was the Second Coming or anything but Liakhovich seemed to have nothing to make me think he'd win.

Before that, Brewster-Golota. After the displays against Byrd and Ruiz, and Brewster's weak showing against Meehan, I thought it was finally Golota's big chance.

And Tyson-McBride. I really though Mike would bulldoze him.

I picked Judah over Cotto, as Cotto had never faced someone of Judah's caliber before. But in hindsight I should have watched Judah-Baldomir first ( I watched it recently), that fight showed that if you can hurt Judah you can bully him around for the rest of the fight, and make him a defensive fighter instead of an offensive fighter.
