after geales performance against mundine i think you would really have to give geale some hope of beating pavlik.
anybody give geale a chance?

Umm no....i think Gealey gets KO'd in the mid rounds after some rocky moments in the early rounds.
This is coming from a big supporter of Gealey.

Geale fought he fight of his life against Mundine and still came up short :D
Pavilk would beat Mundine on points however he would stop Geale cold mid to late rounds....Its ok for Geale to trade with Mundine and thats Geales style but Geale wont be able to trade with Pav.
Mundine would fight a defensive fight against pav and unless he can come up with the big shots or combos he would get beaten 117 - 111.

considering he is ranked #6 ibf and #7 wbo he may get a shot in the not too distant future against either belt holder.
with natural improvement following his bout with mundine i think he would put in a brave performance against either of them.

Well Geala has got to have a go at someone, but I'm not sure he could keeep Kelly back for 12, and when one gets through it's goodnight.

He may a chance at the IBF crown...as Sylvester and Lorenzo look like fighting for the vacant title when Abe moves up.
He has a better shot against those guys..though I wouldnt favor him.

Pavliks a little bit overrated, but i'd expect him to beat Geale...... As suggested maybe even a mid-rd stoppage.

Agree whatarock. Definately best option for Geale other than to get the rematch with mandy & show everyone this time he's the better technician in the ring. Sorry Ash I couldn't resist.

IBF is a great way for him to get a chance, WBC Interim Title Champ Zbik could be an option or maybe with a vacant WBO Interim title shot, now that the WBC sanctioned their own interim title when Pavlik fulfilled his WBC mandatory in Rubio back in February.:-(
If the WBC did it maybe the WBO can do Gealey a favour as he is ranked high in the WBO.:deal

If I was Mundine thats who I would be looking at....Mundine is ranked quite high in the IBF.....he should fight an elimination with Roman...that will get him number 1 to fight Sylvester who should beat the yank.

It's a style thing I think. I don't think Geale would handle a world class puncher/pressure fighter like Pavlik. His boxing skills are excellent, but I don't think they're on par with some of the guys Pavlik has fought and I think Geale would be fighting to survive from about the 3rd round on.

I think Geale has the skills but lacks the power to keep Pavlik at bay for 12 rounds. Pavlik by late rounds KO.

Pavlik would molest Geale.
Geale is better off heading along the WBA line if he wants competitive fights.
geale beat mundine but i wouldnt have him hanging in there with pavlik
mundine hasnt fought anyone near the level of pavlik he would also lose

Agree with this. Geale gets stopped mid rounds. Just imagine Geale fighting the Pavlik of the Miranda fight. Geale simply has zero punch for a middle and wouldn't be able to keep Pavlik off + Geale has a shit chin and has been dropped by bums in the past.

i'd love to see Geale pull off the upset but I don't think it will happen at this stage of his career. For mine, Geale needs some solid lead up fights. he fought out of his skin against Mundine, though that is not really a barometer for Pavlik. Geale could do well with some more venom in his punches otherwise Pavlik would just pick him off. same to be said for Mundine.

No!

Agreed.
Although I do think Geale would trouble Pav with his speed and evasive skills, though I suspect Pav would tag him eventually.

Actually he has, Kessler.
Kessler would beat all of them (and has beaten one of them).
