Just an idea as i could actually see this one being made as a co main event to a card later in the year or early next year with Chuck seemingly hell bent on fighting on. How would you see this one going?

Since when ? I read just last week he wants to take some time off until 2010 let his head rest because he believes that Shogun shouldnt wouldnt normally KO him.

Trust me Jimbo that guy will be back. And i hope its not vs Coleman. Its really time for Mark to hang them up. He just looks like an old geriatric learning to walk again. Can you imagine if he'd debuted vs Brock at heavy as he was suppose to? :yikes

Dana said it on the radio, so maybe its not true. Chuck should listen though, him and Dana are boys, Dana will still pay him; he just doesn't want to see him embarassed.

If Liddell-Coleman qualifies as a co-main event fight, then the UFC should just declare bankruptcy and go out of business.

Such is the brain of a true fighter though. Can be very sad:verysad
On one hand who am, Beebs the jerkoff, to tell him when to stop fighting? On the other hand, just look at whats happening to him.
Pride sneaking voices of "one more shot" can be a dangerous thing.
Matt Hughes, my MMA hero: take notice as well; although you can still out wrestle plenty of decent fighters.

This could have been an interesting match several years ago. Coleman has at least as good of, if not better than, takedowns than Liddell ever faced.
Coleman is about 5 years older than Liddell, fighting significantly smaller than previously in mma, and appears to slid further away from his prime.
Liddell really hasn't looked that bad recently. I know, I know, he's been getting knocked the fuck out; and that doesn't look great. Liddell did put on a good showing against Wanderlai, and was performing fairly well before getting ko'd in his last two. What I mean by fairly well is that he looks capable as a fighter. Chuck has not slid as far as Nogueira for an example. I'm not recommending Liddell continue on as a fighter, just saying his opponents still need to bring their A games.
I think Chuck is still capable of defeating Coleman. I'll need to review recent footage of Coleman before making a prediction, but off the top of my head I'm leaning towards a 2nd round ko by Liddell.

I would like to see that if it were to happen its in my hometown of Dallas, unfortunately it wasnt announced on the lineup yesterday out here
i would love it if liddell came back and got his ass kicked by coleman,i know that if they fight coleman has a slim chance at winning,if i was betting money i would say liddell by ko/tko 2nd round.....i think this is about the only guy he could beat at this point of his career

Just watched Coleman and Bonnar last night, and can make a prediction on Coleman vs Liddell.
Liddell ko 1. Coleman is old now, and I don't think he'll initiate many clinches before tasting Chuck's still heavy hands.
