Bellew should be getting pushed.

If Vinny gets pushed he will get beat i still think he should have a loss on that record from one of the fights i have seen.

It's not Bellow.

See below for correct spelling.

Bellew, not Bellow.

Mitchell turned pro to early. he needs to move to 6 rounders, it will be a slow process with him.

i ve been to most of mitchells fights and i have to be honest he isnt progressing at all people in the gym claim he packs a real solid punch but his record doesnt back that up if they step him up in quality he will be found out

Vinny Mitchell is nowhere near as good as his brother and won't get to British level IMO.

Bellow and Cleverly will fight next year hopefully, would be a belter.

I would like to see Bomber fight Cleverley but Francis wouldn't be a bad option for him either (if he could lose the weight)

francis has retired. In truth he never has the dedication. I think Bellew should try and go for the English title, maybe as chief support in Liverpool to Smith vs Quigley. Then he will probably pick up a vacant commonwealth belt which Clev will leave. Both could be potential world champs so ******s gonna wait for the biggest fight possible to match them.

When did Magee get scrapped off this? I thought it was Quigley who was injured?

You heard any names of who you are fighting Tony?

Tony Bellew
07-16-2009, 03:22 PM
I'd say it's between 2 mate but as you can understand I can't really say cos neither has agreed but both know about it..1 has a good record on paper and can fight having pushed all are top lightheavies very very close!! The other has a record that ain't that great BUT he comes to fight and is very durable and has given a few people he's boxed a hard time!!

As long as it's a step up in class mate then I'll be happy!! I'd fight ANY lightheavy in Britian..Sooner the better:good

I'd like to see that one happen.... why wait though? obviously it's down to the promoter I know but it's not healthy for a young fighter coming up not to be tested.... it's like starvation of education. I just invented that phrase.:yep

I'd love that fight, He has a good ep at the min afetr he prizefighter tournament so It makes sense, I think the Oakey fight is not too far off the agenda BUT will he fight on FW bill?? Will Hatton allow it?? I don't know, Hopfully all the things that needed to be sorted can cos me and Oakey will be a great fight to watch like I said before, Also there are some other names about like Fry,McIntosh and co.;)

If McIntosh is still English champion surley you will be mando for that.

I have heard Fry is next up for Clev.

Nice to see you on here Tony - how do you get on making weight?

Obviously you fought at heavy in the ams and you've been weighing in the late 180's for your last couple of fights. Is that your walk around weight and do you think you'll have much trouble getting down to 175 for championship fights?

Making weight is toughpal, I ain't gonna lie and say it's easy mate cos it ain't, I am on a diet for 6 weeks min sometimes 8, I have made 175 three times the day before, I weighed 175 for my last fight against Ellis the day before and I also did it for my debut, I can make it although like I said it is hard, Im strong and very big at the weight so will continue to stay at it for the foreseeable future I feel..:good

McIntosh would be a fight I'd like especially seeing how he can't stand scousers in tracksuits..:hey I've heard the same stories about Fry fighting him in Belfast BUT you just never know so I'll wait and see, I just wanna step up and fight some good guys where people think, Hey Bellew could lose this one, There the ffights were people are gonna see the very best of me..;)

Thanks for showing the intrest in me mate. It's much appreciated..:good

Ovill McKensie deserves a few good fights, he did so well on prizefighter but is now struggling to get fights. I think Bellew and McKensie would be a crackin fight.

Courtney and myself are friends so there would have to be a title on line or some decent amount of money, I'd jump at any of the others to be honest, I'll say 1 thing I'll more than likely be fighting 1 if not 2 of the above names before the end of the year..:good

Your spot on Beeston Brawler!! No more 4 rounders that's guarenteed!:happy! Thank God I couldn't put up with another one of them!!:-(

I've gotta thank FW,Arnie & Dean though cos I feel I have progressed well with the fights they've made me, I feel I've improved each time with the only time I boxed bad was in Liverpool which was a real shame too! Concentration just wasn't there that night BUT I learned an awful lot too so it wasn't all that bad in the end..;)

Nice to hear from you again Bomber. When is Selkirk fighting next mate ? And Crolla ? Whats happening with him now ? Hope he hasn't got too disheartened by the Sykes defeat, that was a very good fight which could have gone either way in all honesty, Sykes just stopped him in his tracks a little more than Crolla was able to do.
