Lidell is way too shot; not to mention Dana claims he is retired. Although Jones hasn't earned a shot against that big of a name yet, even if that name is no longer the fighter he was.

I like Bones alot. He brings an interesting dimension. But iv still yet to see what he's actually good at. He seems competent with his striking and wrestling but doesnt seem to actually really excel at either.

Liddell is shot just like Ricky Hatton is the guy can't take a punch anymore he has a Glass Jaw. He needs to retire before he gets hurt.

That throw he put on Bonner was enough to earn him a big fight against Liddel, that fucking move was incredible

Hes very average, I wouldnt go as far as to call him a can but still an impressive move by Jones, never seen that in MMA..the next best thing was Maia throwing Sonnen

It was great, but it was clearly an elbow to the base of the spine, and hence very illegal, it should not have won him the fight.

Illegal as you can get, and totally unfair to give him the win for it.
If he can get some gas though, he has potential for days.

I loved that fight; I'm a fan of both, but a much bigger fan of Maia.

I kind of agree; although his technique for Greco Roman and upperbody Freestyle throws, trips, and hip tosses are some of the best around.
He needs to work on his stamina though, big time.
And he spells his name wrong; "John" should have an h in it damnit.
