Was concentrating on getting substance over style this time around. I think this video clearly demonstrates just how good Michael was when on the offensive. Dynamic hitter, knockout power in both hands. Amazing right hand, and equally good left hook. Show some appreciation for one of the lesser heralded champions.

He was a wondeful puncher and you've really captured the essence of that. Very well done, great video that i'll watch many times.

Absolutely. He's a wonderful fighter to watch, appears to have every shot at his disposal. He really needed a man to stand in front of him to be most effective though. His knockout ratio surprises me, because when he hit guys with a left hook or a straight right, more times than not they'd be laid out. Yet his knockout ratio doesn't suggest he is a HUGE puncher, but I think he really was for his division.

Thanks. I feel there's a few fighters who don't get enough coverage on youtube. Michael Spinks set is in the mail, so I'll make sure I do him some justice.

I was disturbed to read a recent article about Michael Carbajal and his brother Danny. Apparently, his brother has been put behind bars for theft and Michael told the judge to serve him the maximum. There's a lot more behind it, but when you see Danny working with Michael in the corner and talking to Al in post interviews, it's really sad to hear. He comes across as a lovely guy, and one who really cares for the well being of his brother. Not cool.
