Great stuff as always Chuffy :)

Never seen either of these guys fight before, but heard they're both top tier

Manhoef is huge monster. Filho did amazing to weather the storm and come back to win

Wonder how Fedor would deal with these two?

filho is like (17-1) and manheof (23-6-1)with 22 ko/tko's,manhoef is a monster on the feet but his only weakness in his ground game, filho is a submission specialist, and as far as them fighting fedor i would say manhoef has the better chance if he could keep it standing.....filho fights as 185 and manhoef fight at 205 just to let you know:good

Yeah Manhoef is a fucking beast...I'm surprised how calm Filho was but he managed to take advantage of the situation as soon as it went to the ground

would love to see Melvin in the UFC - imagine him against Rampage!

Jerome le Bonner (think thats his name) is like a white Manhoef no?

I think Jerome's style is different imo...But , he's a + 125 kg kickboxer who can land fast and accurate knees and kicks...He's very powerful too.

Manhoef is terrible. Stylistically it was a perfect comeback fight for Filho. Good job for Filho on the win.

Wonder how Fedor would deal with these two?Extremely easily, considering both are Middleweights.

Manhoef really needs to learn armbar defense. The guy is an absolute animal standing but once he gets taken down, he gets subbed faster than Houston Alexander. Good to see the roids working their magic on Fihlo. The non-roided U.S. version would have been out of breath and half dead 10 seconds in.

even with no armbar defense id love to see melvin vs a.silva that would be awesome while standing up

Filho has to be the most overrated MW in MMA history. The hype surrounding this guy a couple years back on Sherdog was absurd, and so unfounded. He has no stand-up at all and his strength is way overblown. Put him up against either a good wrestler or a good striker with takedown defense and he's fucked.

Hes lost one fight, where he was talking to imaginary people at that, fought at least solid competition, most of it at 205.

How is that overrated? Misaki suits "good striker with takedown defense" to a tee, he got armbarred with the quickness. Sonnen is one of the best wrestlers around, and was another armbar victim. The second fight was a disgrace, he was clearly not prepared to fight due to mental and drug issues, and that is all on him, but if that is out of the way he appears to be a great fighter.

Not to mention, he can weather a storm, Sonnen was beating him on the stand up, yet got his arm nearly broken.

Add to that he is just out of rehab,

So your gonna call Filho out for roids when his opponent is Manhoef? I mean, if ever there was a time to assume Filho was at a chemical disadvantage, this was it.

I dont know what to make of manhoef, is he a good fighter??. the guy has almost 0 ground game. A decent sprawl but he keeps losing to these lesser athletes.

I love Melvin. Your guranteed to get a good fight with him. Him KO'ing Mark Hunt was a joy to watch.
