Sorry man...it's just that I haven't even seen a boxing magazine in about 5 years. You just don't get them here anymore, unless you import them. Kinda sucks.

What's The Ring like these days?

Boxing Monthly is the only one without an obvious agenda. The Ring is an absolute rag

I dont think its that cheap! £4 95.When I first started buying it it was 2/6d!
I liked KO ,which was its sister publication, particularly liked the mythical head to head match ups and interviews with experts about them.I wish the Ring would incorporate them in their mag

I always used to buy the ring and the boxing news, but now that we got the internet, well, it's just so much faster and up to date. Even when i used to go in WHSmiths to get the ring when i was like 15, i'd always flick to the back first, soon as i got it off the shelf, and see which boxer was featured in the nostalgia section.

I cut them all out and, the pics, and had them all over my bedroom, it stayed like that till i was 21, i had like a fuckin kid's bedroom full of cut out pics of fighters! then i went on holiday with all the lads for my 21st, when i got back, my mum had put them all into collages for me and we put them up on the walls, looks well better now, some good shit.

Boxing Monthly and The Ring are the best. I was a regular buyer of Boxing News around 10 years ago. I hated it when it went newspaper style. Much prefered it magazine size, which it has went back to now. Don't buy it anymore though. I just stick to Boxing Monthly and the odd Ring now and then.

Bert Sugar's "Fight Game" was a brilliant magazine. I bought it from 1997 until around 2000, just before it went into liquidation.

Boxing Monthly is by far the best mag. Hard to get if your not in the UK though
