I was honestly sad watching that fight. CC just didn't look like himself.

Cro Cop should consider retirement after getting KTFO with a head kick by a BJJ fighter, then getting out pointed by a second rate kick boxer.

Wouldn't surprise me to see him bounce back. You never really know what a fighter still has left. I would rather see him retire before he gets ko'd again.

Cro Cop should at least never fight in England again, holy christ!
He made Gonzaga look a prime Peter Aerts, while getting brutally KTFO.I havent seen this fight yet , that as well took place in England, but it dont sound good.

lol , no dude..doesn't matter where he fights...they could even have a ufc event in croatia he'd still lose...(and the fans would probably try to kill him a minute later  )
he's just past his prime.

Yeah, I dont think kickboxers are known for aging gracefully ? They compile alot of injuries , and take many shots to the head. So like a car , a kickboxer only has so many miles , and it is time for Mirko to be traded in ,so to speak.
so who does he fight next? at this point I see Heath Herring giving CC a wippin. He trained really hard for this fight apperently, but he didn't look motivated at all. I think he get's discouraged easily.

very disapointing. I thought he would look great cause he always does after losses. I remeber he would soften guys up with leg kicks, kicks to the body then head kick when the guy least expects it, fights over.

Mentally and physically, he's just not himself anymore. He's got a ton of mileage, so I guess it's not too surprising...I hope he retires before he takes too much more wear and tear. He's one of the MMA guys I'd like to see 20 years from now to see how he's aged given the punishment he's taken.

What's with all the cro cop bashing? The guy loses a coupla fights in a row and alluvasudden he's a has been. Relax, allow the man some time to settle into the UFC and see where it takes him.

a couple fights in a row? yeah but he got the living shit kicked out of him by Gonzaga and beat easily on his feet by Kongo who basically bullied him around the ring. He's not just losing he's barely putting up a fight, after that Gonzaga beat down he will never be the same. he has 1 more fight left on his contract and even if he decides to fight it, I;m sure he will retire. Couture would have a field day with CC. Unless Barnett comes to the UFC CC is finished.
Cro Cop needs to retire. He looks small, timid and frail these days. The old Cro Cop is long gone and he's not coming back. I'd rather him retire and focus on his family and politics than keep this up. I will jump for joy if he announces his retirement. I like the guy too much to see him do this to himself more. Someone I was watching the event with put it best..."Your fighter just got beaten up by a gay guy." When that happens, it's time to hang up the old 4 ounce gloves.
I also thought he was small looking, his upper body looked weak and he didn't have that expolsiveness he used to have.

:rofl:rofl:rofl
Is Cheick Kongo "gay" because he's French? What makes him "gay?" He was a bigger man than Cro Cop and had more reach and was versed in kickboxing. It's not a disgraceful loss and Cro Cop has nothing to hang his head and be ashamed over. Sometimes you still have to root for your guy after he loses. Sports fans have now become a bunch of bandwagoning what-have-you-done-for-me-lately types. People lose. It happens. Styles make fights. The greats come back better than they were before. Allow Cro Cop the time to adjust to cage fighting instead of the ropes he was accustomed to before you count him out.
