I don't say picking Calzaghe is "wrong". Joe was special. But he also got dumped by two old men. It's very hard to quantify him head to head. I think i'm right in saying that the only guy who beat more linear champions is Charles? That being the case the pick for Joe just sticks in my craw! Over 12 rounds I think Calzaghe has a very, very good chance, but that is as far as I would be willing to go.

Yeah he also got dumped by a good counter shot by (shit what his name) Byron Williams? Which doesn't bode well for him here at all, to put it mildly, but he was a big puncher, and Joe dealt with it very well. There's always the speed, footwork, and mobility factors in favour of Joe to seome degree though.

Id pick Tiger. I think is harder cleaner shots can edge out Calzaghes flurries and Tigers defence make them land on gloves anyway
