I think if Firpo came out the same way he did against Dempsey this would be a brutal 5 round festival of asskickery and badassitude. I'd be very interested to see how Rocky would deal with a fighter as big, strong, awkward and powerful as Firpo. Rocky wins, by the way.

This woud obviously be a war. I dont think it would be as quick or exciting as Dempsey Firpo though. More a Frazier Bonavena type afair.

Marciano would probably take it based on his deffence of all things. In a slug fest of this type the guy who slips more punches generaly gets broken down last.

I could see it going to the scorecards though Marciano might end it sooner.

Firpo would be there to be hit all night long, and Marciano would counter him to death. Chop, chop, chop, over in two or three rounds.
