I watched it for the first time last night. Brutal.

In the past few months, Holyfield-Savarese and Smith-Davis were good fights.
The best in recent memory was Lyakhovich-Brewster...great fight

I kind of liked Wlad - Austin..
One of the worst schoolings i've ever seen, one-handed knockout.

Chagaev v Valuev was a good fight imo. I liked it. Chagaev fought a very tactical fight, he was fighting at angles coming in with hooks and barely getting hit with anything solid from Valuev. Best heavywieght fight of the year so far.

Rahman-Maskaev II. That was actually a very entertaining fight with both guys going toe to toe with each other and Maskaev scored a very dramatic TKO in the 12th. I dont know how many of you saw it, but that was the best all action HW fight I have seen in some time
It was very good but not as good as Brewster v Lyakhovich which only happened 4 months before that .

That was brutal...
That was Rahmans best performance of his career in my opinion.
I know people will say the lewis fight but rahman wasnt as dominating and ruthless as he was the night of the meehan fight.
If he were to ever produce a fight like that again then who knows he may become 3time champ.
I strongly doubt it though.

Basically, fights with Brewster in them are very entertaining. Other fights like Chagaev-Valuev and Klitschko-Brock have been pretty entertaining. Most of the top heavyweights, however, are either facing overmatched "opponents" or boxing each other to super-timid unanimous decisions, so good fights are thin on the ground.
Savarese-Holyfield was good, considering it was two old warriors who have had some real stinkers in the past.

There are many good fights but often heavy fights end in early KOs and are therefore not listed in these categories.
Samil Sam vs Bakhtov and Danny Williams come to my mind.
Or simply Audley vs Sprott. Very entertaining but quickly over.
Raphael Butler- Binkowski.
