The fight is less than two weeks away, but the media (aside from a few Ukrainian and Russian news sites) doesn't seem to be covering it, the fans don't seem to be talking much about it, and Klitschko and McCline have been, for the most part, quiet. Personally, I think it's one of the most, if not the most, interesting heavyweight match-ups of the year.

Me personally I cant wait to see it, I am one of the few who give Mccline a decent chance of winning. If both Vitali and Wlad own all the titles I will have no choice but to convert to watching ufc matches until there reign is over, 2 homosexuals holding the titles dont sit well with me.

Why aren't people interested in this fight?? Because most boxing fans can spot a set-up fight when they see one. After Vitali blows through McCline, then the hype will start.

I am really excited to see how Vitali looks after so much time off from the ring. The fight isn't getting more publicity because this is expected to be an easy comeback fight for Vitali. Had he been fighting Oleg Maskaev, the fight would have been much bigger.

This will be good a fight, and I think a lot of ppl are waiting to see it. But HeavyWeight division has been through so much that it is hard to expect anything too exciting. Chagaev was about to fight for a 2nd belt, gone and now back. Vitali was about to fight Maskaev, now thats gone too. Peter finally got Chagaev, it took them months to get their shit straight. Although there seems to be some sunshine coming through, and it finally looks that the Heavy Weight division is beginning to lift up, it is hard to predict anything.

I think it would be quiet interesting if the Klitschko brothers were too hold all the belts, I dont see anyone out there that would beat them so why not. He claims its the fact that he doesnt want to see two homos holding the titles. One, if you dont understand somebody's please stop. I am Ukrainian and homosexuality is almost unheard off. In fact most Ukis find it really sinful and discraceful. Two, the pics and attitude of the Klitschko brothers that you see is what I see many times from where I am from, and it has nothing to do with being gay. They are not gay, so stop being ignorant. Just like you see an Italian guy kissing another Italian guy on the cheek, that doesnt mean its homo. Its someone elses culture. The Klitschko brothers dont diss these huge XXXXL baggy pants and shirts and the vulgar language that some of the American boxers have. So please stop with yours.

Bingo. People aren't hyping this for the same reason Holyfield-Savarese or Rahman-Sykes didn't get much hype. They were fights designed to be impressive AFTER the event, although Rahman-Sykes failed even in that.

This fight has the opportunities to be a decent fight or a stinker. I think it will be the latter, as does most of the sports networks. It will not be no Lyle vs Foreman or Ali vs Frazier this is certain.

You know:

1) I do not believe the Klits are gay
2) it woduln't detract from their ability and class if it they were
3) you are dead on about their being gentlemen
4) I try to respect other cultures
5) I wish them well and think your thoughts are well stated.

But

6) They should not have done those pics. Lets say that we 80% agree.

There is not much hype regarding this fight, because rightly so, it is seen as a warm up fight for Vitali before he fights for a title.

Also no on really knows how much Vitali has left, and whether he will be able to come through this fight uninjured and another training camp uninjured given the seriousness of his injuries before.

If McCline is not shot this will be a tough challenge for Vitali. I pick him to win but i would not be suprised if McCline pulls of the upset. We dont know how rusty Vitali will be and we dont know if he will ever be as good as he was a few years ago. Im shure he will not reach his brothers level.

People just don't have faith in McCline in pull the upset.

Sure, if McCline wins then this board will explode...but it's tough to get jazzed-up for a fight when it's seen as being a blow-out.

McCline winning would be hilarious, but McCline's always managed to find a way to disappoint in the past. I'm sure he'll do work out some way to lose, while still making Vitali look like crap.

I see. You'd rather watch two men in the UFC grapple with each other, with one's butt resting on the other's chest.

Vitali's come back will get more press as the fight nears.

It's a tune-up comeback fight, nobody gives a shit about those.

McCline is more than a tune up! I think McCline is still a Top15 fighter, maybe Top10. I dont think this will be a blow out. McCline has no glass jaw, his chin is verry good.
