Seems Sakio Bika is really peeved about being blocked in the super middleweight division by being frozen out of the upcoming 'super 6' tournament. So much so, that Bika is planning on moving up a weight division and fight at light heavyweight.

Bika has been quoted just recently as saying he’d like to fight WBC light heavyweight champ Jean Pascal.

Might just be a case of 'where can I fight for a title'. But Bika must be keen for a meaningful fight by now - I know he's got one scheduled for this thursday - but it's been 8 1/2 months!

the guy is the fucken IBO champ and cant get a start, disgraceful

fuck Abraham, he hasn't even been in the ring at 168... Bika has a right to be pissed. Make it an 8 man tourney and include Bute and Bika IMO

Pretty much what I just wrote on the other Bika thread Gonzo.

Im pretty sure Mundines team would put him in against Wright before Bika. Ones a puncher. Ones not.

I like Bika but Pascal is one of my favourite fighters and Bika doesn't really have much of a chance against him. He'd be better off fighting Erdei (wont happen) or Campillo/Shumenov for the WBA.

I'l retract a post I made where Sakio pulled out of the Green fight. That was wrong. Green pulled out of that fight and signed for Oganov.

Look for Sakio to now try and get WBO super middle champ Karoly Balzsay on the Andade/Bute card in Canada, Nov 28.

Providing Balzsay beats Steiglitz in 2 weeks time.

I'd back Balzsay to outbox Sakio to a UD. He is very well schooled.

On a technical level, Pascal would dominate Bika. But being such a long-reach, akward and often dirty fighter, Bika is always dangerous. He's got power and heart, I'll give him that as well, but I would worry more about headbutts and elbows than anything else if I was Pascal...
