His takedowns are ok. He threw Wes Sims around in both fights and made him his bitch. He also took Antoni Hardonk down easliy and subbed him quick. A fat out of shape Mir in 2006 even took a big heavyweight in Dan Christianson down a few times. Kongo doesn't have takedown defense good enough to keep Mir from having his way with him:deal

I think if Mir can grab Kongo AT ALL he wins. If he can pull guard he can beat Kongo, I think.

Easy fight for Mir. I still think Mir is the best heavyweight other than Brock. Maybe he would have similar trouble with Carwin that he had with Brock, but I think he beats everyone else.

Whether or not he took the fight in weeks notice, Kongo, has experince and still looked like a rookie in the Velasquez fight. I have a feeling that Dana White and UFC are going to stress for Lesnar/Mir 3.... So believe me, Mir, will come to win.

You know what, I dont think this is a great fight for Mir. Mir has good BJJ, but his takedowns have never been that impressive in my opinion and I think Kongo can do some damage on the feet.

Mir is a different fighter than Cain. Cain is relentless and is a GREAT wrestler.

Its a pick'em fight. I'm far from a Kongo fan, I dont think hes that good but I think if hes going to beat a grappler, Mir is probably the right fight for him stylistically.

i hope this is true, i will be there in memphis to watch this fight in person(my 1st one in person),it will go well with the rampage evans fight.....i cant wait to see how crazy that place goes when rampage comes out,i know i will go crazy....lol
