Does anyone know if the super six SM tournament will be shown over here? There's no much talk about on who people think will win etc but will we actually see it? What about Cotto v Pacquiao too?

Nothing has been confirmed YET. Rumours that Sky are interested as well as a new 'ITV Box Ofiice' channel. Personally, I think we should start lobbying TV companies to show it, like we have done with the Bunce campaign:good.

Sky are running news items on it so I'd guess they fancy their chances of getting it, they tend to try to ignore fights they arn't showing.

Frochs fight should be on ITV, didnt his fight with Pascal get like a million viewers or something. Hopefully Sky will get a few fights also and maybe ESPN too.

I hope they sell the fights as a package, it'd be better for the TV companies as well.

I think Sky will step up for this.

The thing is, the tourney is divided into different fights; so it's unlikely that every one will be picked up by a TV company. The final and Froch's fights I'd imagine are highly likely to be televised. The others are, from a TV exec's perspective, just random fights.

They'd just have to make the bid with that in mind, x amount for Froch fights and the final added to y for the other fights.
With Froch involved in the tourney they've always got a least a small angle to sell the other fights on.

theres a Froch interview on youtube where he talks about a deal with ITV box office. He also encourages the fans to contact the networks and put pressure on them.

I'd guess that carl Froch just wants someone else bidding besides Sky to push the price up a bit. That ITV Box Office talk seems vague and quite a way off yet.
