View Full Version : Should Cro Cop try 205?
coming in at a weak 220 I assume it wouldn't be to hard for him to get to 205. He would be fighting guys his own size and maybe re -energize his career. If he fights couture or Gonzaga again they would easily handle him and out power him on the ground. His upper body looked weak and undefined, I'm just not sure that he can hang with the big boys anymore especially when guys know his simple game plan. Is it going to be a straight left or a LHK.

Too me he looks he like he is tenative. It is not the same Cro Cop from the PrideFC - that's for sure. Kongo sure is better than I thought too. That guy has good tools - size, great build, long reach which was troubling for Cro Cop in their fight. Do you think it is because he cannot get used to fighting inside of the octagon instead of a regular ring? Is he still gun shy after what happened with Gonzaga? He is still a young man at just thirty-three years old.
I do believe what happened vs Gonzaga is in his head and thats very obvious watching him last night not that Cro Cop threw non stop punches and kicks but he seemed very tentative and afraid to really commit to anything and that confidence was gone once the bell rang kinda the same when Wanderlei came back and fought Henderson this year. Mentally there likely both done.

nah i dont think he should go down there. theres nothing wrong with his gameplan but he hasn't been executing the way he used to. everyone know wlad klit's game plan but hes been beating everyone. cro cop used to throw lots of leg kicks, body kicks so when the head kick came it would be a surprise. at the kongo fight he was throwing desperation high kicks to try and take him out without a good build up to it.
