My tickets for Froch-Pascal cost £30 so I'm expecting something similar this time round.

Really good, about 3 rows back from the barrier so had a great view. Hope for something similar this time round. :D

Yeah, sounds like it'll be a late one so places will probably be closing when it's finished. Some decent pubs a stones throw away from the venue though. :good

If it's a late one I am definitely doing the stopover.
Not fucking about with all the drunks on the M1 in Yorkshire at 3am
Sounds like a plan, pub grub, few beers, then the action.

Late I think.
The natives are pretty crazy.
Most places have a Walkabout that opens until 3am failing anything decent

Trent FM arena has brilliant atmosphere. Loved it at the Pascal fight. Might be unable to make it to this one gutted :(.

I've been for a few Froch fights including Pascal and it is an excellent arena. Might just be me but I thought there were more than the usual amount of clueless footy types though. I mean, why would anyone shout 'who are ya' after the effort Pascal gave, especially after the decision and once he and Carl had shown a lot of class.
Nowhere near enough to put me off, I just don't like to see it thats all.
Brass Monkey (or something like that) is a decent bar just opposite the All Bar One in the old church.
If you haven't sorted a hotel then do it now as they do book up

Not sure I've been with my girlfriend in the past but going with a mate (maybe more) this time so it'll be a different night!
I don't think it's really late

Did the Pascal fight sell out??
I was kicking myself for missing that. Think I'll try to buy two tickets, if I can't get any of my mates to go, I'll just head down myself and punt the other ticket.

The atmosphere for the Pascal fight itself was excellent, but there was lots of waiting around and I only saw a couple other fights - Fury's debut and McIntosh I think.
It was a bit of a football crowd but I can cope with the odd shout of 'You Red' a lot more happily then 'Walking in a Hatton Wonderland' for hours.
I'm going to get a couple tickets when they come up for sale. Think the Pascal fight was pretty much sold out.
Nottingham night life is pretty good and reputation for totty superb, shame I won't be able to stay overnight as the glory of Sunday League calls the next morning.

Just out of interest, I don't think it was ever announnced, or even hinted at that tickets would be on sale today, it was just a rumour.
Unless I missed something of course, but surely when tickets do go on sale, Hennessy will make sure we all know about it?
