Soemone has to say it. I always liked Vitaly and wish him all the best of luck, Should have want to continue on his come back down the line, then that is great.

But...

A) we don't need three mandatory fights plus rematches for the WBC belt. Let the winner of MAskaev and Peter take on Mcall, preferably after...

B) a unification with Wladdy. We all had high hopes for Vitaly, and I think most people do not blame him tht his body fell apart. But it did, and it is time to let his brother step up and attempt to unify the titles.

Vitaly's day in the sun is done. God bless you. You gave us some breathholding moments. NOw go home and get healthy, and focus on running for mayor again and helping train Wladdy.

I feel bad for McCline too. This could have been a big break for him. He's getting old and he could have used this.

I was looking forward to his comeback, but I guess this leaves the winner of Peter-Maskaev in a better position to go ahead and unify.

I really think Vitali is done. Too many injuries and too much time off. It's ashame considering a healthy Vitali and the current Wlad would have ruled the division. It would have been the "Klitschko era"
