No problem.
Maybe not in the thread title, but it's been mentioned in them. Don't mind me, I'm just being churlish because of some of the cunts in this forum today.

Ah well, fuck it then. If nobody wants to read it or contribute then they don't have to.

Fuck off you xenophobic prick.
Even if he did he wasnt winning the fight, not saying that to be prickish, but even a healthy Junior Witter wasnt winning last night.

I think Witter should just retire now, it's obviously up to him but he don't sound like he can do it anymore.

True ive never been a fan, but i kind of feel sad for the bloke.
If i was him i would have a homecoming fight, one last win in a very winnable fight and as you say call it quits.
I think he would make a fairly decent trainer and i can imagine the Ingles letting him help them out in some way.

Yeah, becoming a trainer may be a good idea.

I'm sure to him Cyprus, and the UK are both in Europe... so they're both the same country.... so they're both sharing the same water supply.:D

Tell that to Danny Williams, in fact, you can tell Witter about Danny as well while you're at it.

Even Sky have called Witter a 'quitter'! Maybe the harshest headline ever but still 100% true:

That interview in his dressing room was so sad, i am not a fan of his, but i feel sorry for a fighter to be at the end of the road and not having achieved his dreams.

I'm not quite sure how old you people are..., but for fucks sake get a grip. The man has been beaten, what the fuck is it to you? All the snide remarks mean nothing unless you can get in the ring and do better youselves.

Haye quit before he even got into the ring. Witter? Did he have a real injury? I really don't know, but I think Hatton would have knocked him out.

He looked like he was throwing with both to me, right up til the end
In fact he was throwing huge shots with both hands iirc
Also his behaviour was not consistent with an injury, he seemed more 'mentally deficient' from the start
I don't buy it, personally

Witter wasn't taking any real punishment when he quit - I really believe he was injured.
I don't buy the BS that a "boxer should just fight through it." Witter said the injury happened from round 4 and he tried to push through the fight but in the end it was futile. The media are unfairly roasting him IMO.
After rewatching the fight today i dont believe Witter is shot or has slowed down as people say.
To be honest i thought he looks the same as he always has, its just that he has fought better fighters in 2 out of his last 3 fights.
They wernt old like Corley, journeymen like Morua or b level fighters like Harris.
Bradley is shining through at 140 and Alexander looks like the goods aswell, i just think he has fought 2 guys who wernt intimidated by his alleged punching power and were able to outbox and out fight him.

All we got is his performance, how he threw punches, his reaction afterwards
None of these things suggest an injury to me
Looked much more like his heart wasn't in it, his head wasn't right, and within minutes of pulling out it dawned on him what he'd done

Yeah ive gotta agree, just watched the fight today and the injury was to his pride and heart not his hand/elbow/arm or whatever.
I'm a witter fan and ive always thought he'd beat hatton, i just dont think he's quite up to the level of opposition he's fought in his last few outings, or he's got to this level a little too late.

When yer consider his age & his fighting style relying on his reflexes it was going too happen sooner rather than later when a more youthful opponant mentaly & physicly would just outwork him, I like the feller, nice guy that just never had the real big deal connections & what with his style he was never going 2 crack the PPv market such as it is today.
So easy too bandy that disrespectful word around "Quitter" when this guy had won & defended the premier belt i.e WBC & not some supermarket TV shopping belt:smoke
