Mine hands down is Rich Franklin, even though he is on his way out IMO.
I always thought he had a certain quality about him that was classy in and out of the octagon. He has a very good stand up style and is quite crafty on the ground.
Their are many better than him but he is my favorite.

Mine is Rampage back in the day he was slamming people through the floor. But since he arrive in the UFC he lost all that.
Wanderlei. I'm really looking forward to any fight with Maia in it these days

I liked Genki Sudo in the same way I liked Naseem Hamed, except he was much more respectable outside the ring. I like Fedor at the moment too. Sakuraba was (is?) technically immense, always liked watching him fight. I kinda like Royce Gracie as a fighter, mainly because I did BJJ, but not sure what he is like as a person!

Randy Couture but Franklin is real close and hes not even close to the way out he just signed a 6 fight contract and if he beats Belfort hes right there in line for a title shot.

As far as entertainment value it's between Wanderlei and Fedor. Fedor takes it cause I'd care more if he lost.

Machida. A. Silva and Penn
Fedors the greatest though so far.

Probably between Kazushi Sakuraba, Rickson Gracie & Minotauro Noguiera (the big one)
I like Frank Shamrock & Fedor too.

He has had some tough fights lately and I am starting to wonder if he could beat Rampage or Evans. I seriously doubt he could compare to Machida, but you never no with Franklin either he is great!!
I really do think Henderson won the fight fairly though even though some people think Franklin did enough.

I haven't seen much MMA to be honest, but from what I have seen my favourite is Minotauro Nogueira/Big Nog.

If I had to choose just one it would be Sakuraba, the man was just a wizard, submission genius & very well rounded.... always fought much bigger guys & kicked most of their asses convincingly in his prime.
He should retire for sure, he will end up dead, just too much of a warrior & loves fighting far too much.
I think Sakuraba is the greatest MWT that ever lived in MMA, shame he rarely fought anyone his own size, he might never have lost a fight.

Wow, that's a tough call. There are so many great fighters to choose from: Rickson Gracie, Randy Couture, Fedor, Noguiera, Renzo Gracie, Maurice Smith, Cung Le, Wanderlai Silva, GSP, Penn, Machida, or Anderson Silva.
If I'm forced to pick just one - I'll go with Captain America - Randy Couture.
For me GSP of course but Chuck Liddell was another favorite especially when he beat Ortiz in both of their fights. But back in the day I loved watching Tank Abbott.

But back in the day I loved watching Tank Abbott.
I thought I would be the only one to pick Tank. Finally, a fan that know what "it's about." Those of you that heard Tank on Sherdog before the Kimbo fight know what I mean.
Abbott is not an all time great MMA practioner. Tank Abbott is not an all time great technician. Tank Abbot would not be favored over thousands of bjj practioners across the globe.
Tank Abbott was priceless.
I was a fan after his first fight.

Most of the tournament successful were of obvious backgrounds. The rules added after Tank's UFC Tournament debut give testament to his back ground as a street fighter. "No Fish Hooking" is the first to come to mind.

I tried to add video between some of my previous post's paragraphs. I was not successful. I guess different rules come into play when it's not Youtube.

Pride - Sakuraba.
But if we are talking about UFC back in the day it was Tito Ortiz,
He talked crap like Tank Abbot but he could fight, the Ortiz V shamrock fight, hand thing and his trash talk is what got a lot of people interested in MMA. That and Gilbert Yvel's high kick in Pride 10.

In MMA, for me it's gotta be Nick Diaz. You know when he is fighting it's gonna be a great bout. His fight with Diego is probably my favorite MMA fight ever. It's just a terrific ground war that we hardly ever seem to get these days.
I usually don't like guys who run their mouths, but Diaz never backs down and always brings it so I give him a pass in that regard.

He's going to be a vegetable soon. The amount of punishment that man has taken in his career is frightening.
