I'm just wondering, if Amir Khan was to win the WBO title at 130lbs (Alex Arthur perhaps) and then beat M'Baye WBA (or Gavin Rees) at 140lbs in the next two years, is there any chance of him facing Ricky Hatton?

It will be a sad day for boxing if he does...because it would only happen against an aged and run-down Hatton, looking for a handout from a ****** who wants to buy credit for his young talent...Amir would be KO'd by a Hatton close to his best... easily!... if this fight was ever made...

theres eighht years between them in age.
make of that what you will
at the moment hatton would of course win, but who knows in the future.
we have no idea how good khan will be, but to beat any form of hatton he would have to become elite.

Khan is a decent boxer but waaaay over-hyped. I am old enough to remember Bruno's rise and shock losses(at the time) to Smith and Witherspoon. Same s**t will happen to Khan
