I've been having a heated debate with a couple of my buddies and I've been trying to tell them that Silva KO'ed Griffin with a sneaky straight shot(not a jab)...My friends swears up and down that it was a jab.

My question to you guys is what punch was it that KO? (knockdown for those who think Forrest quit)

It was a straight right, but it looked liked he was in a southpaw stance after backpeddaling so I guess technically it was a jab. I'd call it an anchor punch.

Not really he's a switch hitter and the final ko punch was a counter punch. People forget the power of being hit by a counter ;). Griffin walked with his chin up right onto the final punch and besides even though he was backpeddling people forget a counter hurts twice as much as normal punch.

its a cross.. jabs are thrown off the lead foot. (not the retreating foot)
