They have sparred twice the first time mike was out of shape and it was close Fury was able to land on him but Mike was Landing on Fury

But for the second time they sparred mike was in shape and Fury couldnt land on him

They never sparred again after that..

will be interesting to see what happens later this year when Fury is offered a fight with Perez

Perez is mad to get in the ring with Fury

Fury only called Perez out when he found out Perez was sidelined with an injury...... make of that what you will

also the person who gave me that info also told me that Darren Sutherland was getting beaten in sparring by garcia but that in the 4th round he caught Garcia and Garcia quit...

when i met sutherland we was talking about sparring and he was pretty open about what happened in it and seemed honest. I was with a guy who was helping out El Maachie at the time and Sutherland said El Maachie was awkward and caused him afew problems but he was too big for him and handled him.

2 things....

1. The Hatton fact is indeed true.

2. Ben, nice story. I can understand the fact that you was pissed at having to wait for Floyd, he does that a lot (I waited for 3 hours at peacock gym) but thats just his thing. I think he thinks its cool to let the tension build a little. Pissed me right off. Anyways when you say he got egged in Manchester, if your talking about when he came to do the press tour for the Hatton fight (think thats the only time he's been to Manchester) well he most certainly wasn't egged at all !!!!! I was in the crowd that friday afternoon, in just a jeans and jumper outside the Town Hall on Albert Square. It pissed down and I got there 2 hours early to make sure I got a good view. I was about 10ft away from the stage and not a single egg landed near him or the stage. People were throwing shit at him but they weren't eggs. And for the record lads, what kind of nob heads treat the best boxer in the world like that ? I know he's arrogant and slagged Hatton off but that day embarrassed me no end. When we were leaving Albert Square Mayweather was up in one of the window flicking the bird to the Hatton fans and some lad right infront of me threw a full Lucozade bottle up at the windows, nearly smashing them. It hit the wrong window and mayweather started laughing at the lad and the lad shouted "Come on get down here and laugh at me nob head I'll smash your fucking head in" I said "Are you some kind of retard or what.
