Hi all - I'm at a point where I want to get my own set of gloves and I am looking for some feedback. I'm principally looking for a good set of protective, 14/16 oz leather gloves and I'm willing to invest a bit of dough.

Everlast Professional Training Gloves: [Only registered and activated users can see links]

Ringside IMF Tech Training Gloves: [Only registered and activated users can see links]

I've heard good things about the IMF Tech pair, though some people have commented on them being tough to get on. Can anyone tell me anything about the Everlasts?

Additionally - if you've got a good place to buy online, that would be appreciated!

Cheers + thanks,

b

I actually have two pairs of the Everlast Pro training gloves, a pair of black and a pair of white. I absolutely love them. Assuming your hands are wrapped well I've never had wrist trouble and Ive never hurt myself on the knuckles with them. I've let a buddy of mine borrow them once during sparring and they found out they fit nicely to the face as well. ;) Unlike some gloves they're not to wide or bulgy either. One pair I just bought and the other I have had for a couple years now and they are still in great shape, so they hold up well also.

Hope this helped. Any specific question about them just ask.

P.S. Thats a good price too. I bought mine from Title for $90 a pair.

Very helpful post, Rock43 - thanks! How well do the white gloves hold up against scuffs and such? I think I'm leaning towards the Everlasts in red though... still, would be curious to know how they hold up :)

Obviously, seems they're white, scuffs and blood show up on them rather easily. However they're real leather, and are real durable, so I clean/sanitize my gloves as well as my head gear about once a month and they appear like they're right outta the box all over again. Besides the Everlast logo on the hook-and-loop part of one pair and the laces on the other pair, they still appear worn but only because they're white cloth. (my black pair are hook-and-loop and my white pair are lace ups)
