I suggest Vietnamese this time. Just to spice things up a bit. Perhaps throw in a couple of chopsticks and a duck. That should seal the deal.

Well we hope its not a "Joe Average" type of guy :yep
Certain whispers of the following
Winky Wright
Peter Manfredo
Rob Medley
Fights I would like him to target
Roman Karmazin...to become number 1 mandatory IBF fight winner of Lorenzo/ Sylvester
Felix Sturm.....WBA this is a 50/50 fight for Mundine {No super champ coming up in the WBA for a while now Pav/ Williams fight is made}
Bika at SMW.....very winnable fight for Mundine
BTW....what's going on in Montreal......not much hey :D

Winky Wright has to be. Wright will have no one to fight. Because according to Rafael the Sturm fight will never get made.

Greens performance adds money to his name. But it also detracts from Mundines bouts. If Mundine is going to fight a tune up next, his pockets will feel it. Ordinary sporting fans can align with Green and what he has/is intending to achieve.
In other words it has to be Winky or Felix on a card in the US. The Mundine brand is loosing $$$.

yes, but people (including non boxings fans) are sick of him fighting the Claveros of the world. His PPV figures will suck if he fights another bum. He has to fight Pavlik Winky or Sturm to even come close to what Green/RJJ will make...

My money is an appearance on the Andrade/Bute undercard with a promise of fighting the winner. Hes been after that fight for a while. From everything i have heard.
If he lines up another so called tune up. Well career over time.

Mundine is scheduled to fight the winner of the contender series.......looks like he will take a filler/ keep busy fight until his scheduled fight in 4 months.
After that he is fighting Geale early next year.......time has run out for a big fight until mid next year.
too right. if theres yet another tune-up I think even loyal fans who have been buying all his PPVs will end up saying Im not buying this one...

pavlik is now locked up with williams, if i were mundine i woud not go to germany to fight sturm (german judging) that leaves ol winky wright......man i miss watching a prime winky wright, ppl called him boring, i thought he was boxing poetry in motion, if at this stage of his career he was to fight mundine i still think he could produce a win, but it is a fight that could really go either way.

Why doesn't A.Mundine take a look at Khoren Gevor for a match up.
He is a strong fighter but Mundine could take him....it would be a good match up for Mundine's style and interesting given Gevnor is a southpaw.
Have watched a few of Gevnor's fights and he has a good profile in Europe so it would pull a big crowd in Germany, specially given Mundine's last and only excursion there was fairly high profile.
Any opinions here??

This fight would NOT take place in Germany. Gevor vs Mundine or Gevor against anyone without a belt would sell less than 3,000 tickets.
Universum already sent Gevor to Finland, so I guess they wouldn't be opposed to send him to Australia.

As weird as it sounds i do think Winky is not to keen in giving Mundine a fight. And it may be the same with Pavlik.

It's amazing why we spend time going over and over who Choc's next opponant will be, Abraham, Sturm, Winky etc, when most of us know what will happen.
Beats Danny Green and spends the next three years promising the world and delivering nothing until Geale.
The next three years could very well be a repeat of the last three and while the boxing public scratch their heads Choc and Khoder sit back grinning and counting$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
This could go on forever!
It wouldn't surprise me in 40 years time to see Ashley come on here and tell all what Choc has planned for Pavlik's grandson!

But I can tell you if the fight is made its not a headline fight.........but its still a much better fight than the past few years.

exactly what is this thing you speak off that green is trying to achieve.?
apart from attempting to get a decent name on his resume by trying to beat a once great fighter in rjj i mean.
All this hype about what rjj did to lacy means nothing.
Lacy has looked crap ever since his 1st loss and in my eyes is finished, and as good as rjj once was, beating lacy means little.

Luds. Correct me if im wrong, but even if Dawson was fighting Andy Kolle (A Us Journeyman/middleweight), he wouldn't have been able to do what Roy did. Its not just who Roy beat. But its how he won. He was fast. Rangy, and adopted a more unorthodox defence. Im not saying hes back. But he was impressive. And Greens performance, even though it was against a journeyman adds merit and money to the RJJ bout.
Either way its a good bout and a lot of $$$$ in it. Check out Roys track record against LHW's who can jab in the past 4 years, and it may indicate, Greens in with a chance.

I will be cheering Green on each punch however I see the same type of schooling RJJ gave to Lacy.
Yeah Green has the power but RJJ has great evasion and defence and will throw 10 punches when Green is done with his shots.
I see RJJ getting a late stoppage or wide wide UD.
Anyway go Greeny :good

Green will put up more resistance than Lacy did. But I agree Jones will be too slick and quick for him, even at this stage of his career.
His only hope is landing a hay maker, but I really don't see him landing anything flush on Roy's chin. Green will get the worst beating of his career in this fight.
