The questions are so basic making the contestants look a bunch of thickos. Unfortunately they could not even get those answers right.

Carl Froch was just asked the following question - "What is Carl Froch's nick name; is it the Cobra, or is it the tortoise?"
Fortunately he got that one right

Duke and John seem to be the only clever ones there.
The rest should stick to boxing.

 Tricky. I hope this is on the iplayer later. I've haven't watched that program in years! I've heard MENSA boy (aka Nicky Piper) isn't in it, though:conf.

Frank Bruno is a legend of the sport. He was like that before hand anyway. He was superb on that !

Even my mother who hates boxing loves Bruno.
By the way did Jeffries come across like a typical North East lad, ie thick as pig shit?

Bruno wins.
Jeffries got the question "What is the French word for yes?" Asked Anne to repeat the question twice and still didn;t know it

Calzaghe should have went on there and proclaimed in a cheesy, cringeworthy way 'STILL UNDEFEATED':

Carl Froch was asked about Calzaghe and came up with "He gave up his belt rather than fight me, he didn't fancy it."

I know what you mean, I like the guy and he seems happy in himself (which is the main thing given his history) but I just cringe when he does those little rountines. I know it sounds harsh but it seems to have a "dancing bear" element to it that I'm really uncomforable watching.

Was entertaining. Bruno got a few "tricky ones". I thought Bruno did ok.
Way better than Jeffries and he's taken far many more massive shots to the head!
Was surprised with Conteh. He seemed a really quiet guy.

It has to be said Jeffries doesn't exactly come across as the sharpest tool in the box, saying that I briefly met the guy a few months back and he's a top fella so can't complain too much. :good

Come on lads I thought Froch was quite respectful of Calzaghe. He was pushed a little into that answer but dont forget this was recorded after he'd beat Pascal and was still trying to lure Joe outta retirement. He toned it down a lot since then.

i thought Bruno was quality on that.
i also thought conteh did have a bit of playboy about him he was cracking jokes early on and was all tanned up :yep
Jeffries is a sound lad, does shit loads for charity etc

It was the easiest weakest link ever, I though anne was being patronising at first by reading so slowly. Then i realised that they needed it

It was funny but the question's were embarassing. Might have preferred they got slightly more intelligent (supposedly) fighters like Harrison and Haye and upped the questions.

how in the fuck did Bruno win that, Collins should have won, one bad round and he was voted out when he was pretty much the best in every other round

Just watched it, brilliant, in my eyes Carl Froch still won, even though the rounds he did get through he was still the weakest link in them...

Just watched it myself. Quite good although some of the questions were a tad condescending.
I thought Froch was a Nottingham Forrest fan, anyway? He said he didn't follow footy in the program:think. It's funny watching him trying not to badmouth JC as well after the Ginger Tiger's probing questions.
John Conteh's 'Oh, no it wasn't' resposte back at the bitch's comment on his panto days being bad was brilliant:rofl. 'Well, it wasn't Michael Barrymore, was it!' Was the highlight of Bruno's performance as well:rofl.
I never watch Weakest Link but I enjoyed this one immensely:good.

Harsh but a correct assessment; it is like he thinks everyone expects him to perform so just goes along with it. The dance half way through was incredibly cringeworthy but I loved the bit when he said 'follow my lips, Anne'! Put that bitch in her place:lol:
Who would have thought he would have won as well?!:happy

I think by that showing it is quite clear that a career as a pro boxer will have a big effect on your brain. Its not only that they were for the most part thick as shit, but they were so slow to answer and at times the fighters concentration at listening to questions was downright worrying..........I was genuinely shocked!
Bruno is fucking crazy.....

You can say that about the contestants most weeks on the Weakest Link....:good

I toyed with posting that as well. Call me stupid but I think a career as a world famous boxer is much better than getting more than 3 questions right on a TV program anyway.

Not really mate, the questions they were given were much easier than a regular weakest link and they were noticeably slower at answering the questions.
The only person who seemed half decent was Steve Collins, but even he had to close his eyes and go into deep concentration mode when the question was being asked.
I have no doubt that there was some medical experts watching that show shaking their heads....

Collins may well of just been making sure he didn't blurt out the first thing that came into his head, which is what lot of the questions of the program use to show people up.
There are some real idiots on the real WL and those are people who have entered themselves and must thing they are at least reasonably clever rather than the boxers who were there (presumably) by invitation.
They do dumb down the questions for the 'special' versions of the show but I watched the page 3 girl Weakest Link a couple of months ago and, with 1 or 2 exceptions, they were a damn sight thicker than the boxers.

Ever thought they could be just thick anyway though? Boxing can't have had much effect on Degale or Jeffries so far but they were the two biggest idiots on it.
They were all probably poor as fuck at school and never been the sharpest tools in the box. Still, probably would rather have their boxing talent than be able to do my times tables :yep
