i heard that's what mab is going on to right now. can anybody here kindly elaborate it's advantages? and i know that that's also what em did in his previous trainings for the fight with pac of course aside from his velocity training..

All of the above is true, concerning altitude training, but apparently, the advantages are short lived afterwardss, not sure on the time though, it was actually on a documentary about runners from the UK training at high altitude, and then running 2 weeks later, experts were saying that by that time the advantages gained would be very minimal, so it probably depends how long Barrera spends outta the mountains bfore the fight as to the actual amount of advantage in stamina is gained
from what I read it suppose to increase or maintain testerone levels , while losing weight or during period when exercise regimens lasting longer then 6 no more then 8 weeks.

High altitude training should only be used for training If a fight Is In Ecuador for example.

Losing water weight is the only thing i can think of.
It probably also helps if you're fighting in outdoor arenas during the summer. Even if you train like hell, it's tough to prepare for fighting in 100 degree weather.
