This fight is a genuine possibility with Oganov being in Contender Australia. And Sakio Bika fighting Balzay on the Andrade undercard.

Dont know about this one mate......Mundine looks like he will stay at MW for a while and A Green is a SM.....Is A Green interested in making MW?
It would be a good fight as Green is a hard man and always in great shape....quite fast and great power in both hands....and a great left hook :yep
Look I would like this fight on a US card if Mundine is serious about fighting better fighters this would be a step in the right direction.

Anybody remember the Codderington KO?
Green threw about 5 left hooks and Jayden was out cold on his feet and fell through the ropes.
Yep Mundine better keep his hands up and fight on the outside otherwise he's going to get KTFO :yep

I was told by a promoter, that Mundine had made several trips to the US this year trying to secure a big fight. I don't want to be quoted but the offers to Pavlik were real. And he was very much after Andrade had he been able to beat Bute.
Oganov will win the contender with relative ease and hes a decent name in the US. Mundine will have no problem dumping Middleweight for a quick move back up to Super Middleweight to take a bout with Green and other Americans. I have stated this before. Because it also puts him in a good position to rematch Green, bridging the gaps closer together. Alan Green is there to be beaten and while hes dangerous, hes a big name.
This fight can happen and don't be shocked if it does.
(Don't quote me).

Your mail is a bit off here miracle...
Oganov is fighting Allen Green in the US on a Shobox card, early October. The winner will be a reserve for the super 6 tourny.

Yeah....dont know the quickest KO in pro boxing but that must have been 10 seconds.

It was around 19-20 seconds from memory, Jimmy Thunder knocked out Crawford Grimsley in about 12 seconds (with the 10 count) and i have one somewhere where the guy tries to touch gloves at the start of the bout only to eat a overhand right, all up about 3 seconds.

Well it's interesting if not surprising because I have also been told Oganov is in the house. Unless he has an exemption to fight on Oct 2?
Thing is...Oganov/Green is definately a done deal and the winner is a first reserve for the super 6. So I can't see how he could be part of Contender. :think

With all due respect to the list of fighters Oganov really shouldn't have a problem with any Australian contender. So he should be able to fight on Oct 2.

With all due respect to Oganov, he is going to be shit kicked when he fights Green and may suffer a ko and/or cut and medical suspension.
Anyway, we'l see what happens with all this...

I Dont think his manager would say Oganov is fighting Green if he wasnt. Elias is a astute businessman that doesnt need drama and publicity to show his expertise. He has 3 boys lined up to fight in the US from October.
Oganov v Green - Lenny Zappa in Nov on the Dawson undercard, and Vic is fighting in December. His rep is built on results and so far he is achieving them big time. A few other boxers could do with him managing them.

Oganov fighting Green isn't in dispute. He's already signed. It's whether or not he is part of Contender....

Alan Green will easily beat Oganov. Oganov is a hopeless boxer. Green wins every second of every rd for a shutout or stops him. And the deluded few can forget about Mundine fighting someone like Allan Green. Mundine hasn't fought a guy with a pulse since the second Sam Soliman fight how many years ago now ?

Geale is only a decent fighter imo on the world stage. Both Geale and Mundine would be beaten by Allan Green who is nothing great himself. I think Geale has heart but i an not sold on him myself. I would like to see Geale fight some other top 10 middles from overseas before i make a judgement on him. I'm not convinced.
Keep guzzling away Ash.

Geale is not an average fighter. Hes close to a top 5 Middle right now. He would have a good shot at beating both Sylvester and Lorenzo for the vacant IBF title.
Mundines very strong at 168. And hes a very good chance at beating Alan Green. Green does have good power. But he has never really faced an elite fighter. Apart from Miranda and he got schooled by him.
