I have to say the promotion in Melbourne last night was nothing short of brilliant in execution. Initially planned on a short stay, for the sake of catching up with Phil Austin, Old Man with Julian Holland and passing on some 'packages'... as it was, the night was too good to escape early.

A quick phone chat with Ashley before entering alerted me to tha fact both Phil and I were to be subjected to unfounded inuendo via this forum, thanks to Leon.

Getting through security was a breeze... A little foreplanning had seen me dress in a LollyPop lady outfit, much to the doormans suprise. With a shocked expression he remarked "We're expecting you"..

Headed straight to the bar, expecting to find Old Man and Phil with less problem, it appears Phil's costume was even more outlandish than my own. Dressed to impress, with a tie from the Al Grazby wardrobe, Phil certainly went all out to offend the less fortunates of this town who wish to respect the deceased Grazby. The letters "IBO" embroided on his dinner jacket covered the 'Fossey's' label perfectly. 10 points Phil.

Met the team from DSS... The phrase ' ..a head for radio' suddenly made sense..

With the Gostellow fight in full swing, Old Man ushered me to ringside, and politely offered his 'Officials' chair. Sitting at the ring aprin, beside the owner of a certain World governing body allowed for some fine converstation during the free 'Officails' dinner I was to have placed in front of me.. Unfortunately, the 'nameless' man beside me at ringside choked on his dinner, only to have a large portion of it made available for the cleaners beside my feet. This incident will look odd on the fight footage... Take my word, he was not do a special favour for me.

With one of the camera men a couple of feet away, and happy to chat between rounds, I did all possible to convince him that fight fans would enjoy seeing the card girls climb through the ropes from the angle I had. Reluctantly, he kept he proffessional angle and said Upskirting is at risk of his job. He must be gay..

The stunning Judy Green (from the World Safari film) was on the table directly behind me, still as sexy as ever.. thankfully Dave Russell was perched in position to allow chit-chat with him, whilst checking out her well travelled floaties.

Had a chat with 'Aussie' Joe also, and asked him if Phil Austin borrowed him the Jacket he wore?? Afirmitive, Phil really helps out anyone.. 10 points again Phil.

Watching the bout between Sol and Whitehead was entertaining, with Sol bleeding profusely from his beek, and the ref. constantly picking up his mouthguard from the ring floor, placing it back into his mouth made me think he could help out the now hungry bloke beside me...

Stll not a chance of Upskirts, Judy Green having left, Aussie Joes jokes rumbling in my head, fermenting enzyme covered chicken beside my right foot and Soliman about to bash a midget from Asia I thought how fortunate a seat I was to be in. Thankfully Old Man returned and asked if I'd like a beer??? "Yes PLEEEAAAASE", I accepted... he returned 3 minutes later.. "Bars shut mate"..

As far as the night went, its actually a credit to the Promotional team, and doubtlessly a success on paper. Getting home and reading the accusations on the forum was entertaining.. Aussie Joe would be proud.

A quick phone chat with Phil from his hotel was entertaining also.. spoke about the finer points of the night, only to have the voice of Ray Wheatley audibley telling Phil to 'shut-up'... Phil obviously had the bottom bunk in the room.. Sorry Phil.

I take offence that my integrity is questioned.

Apart from that, well done.

Unless Leon is the one who finds your wallet in which case if you are lucky that old movie ticket stub for The Empire Strikes Back MIGHT still be in there!
