Which of those 3 do you like most at the commentary next to Lampley and Merchant.
1. Roy - I liked him the less couse many of the times i didn't realy understand what he was saying couse he spoke pretty fast but he knew how to put Merchant in his place
2. Foreman - He has realy good knowledge of the sport, speaks clearly and his vocal expressions are always great ( OOOOOOO.. WOOOO. AUUUU.. etc )
3. Stewart - Well he has the most knowledge out of the three no doubt. Speaks clearly and everytime he says something i always listen couse he has something smart and interesting to say.
So my vote goes to Stewart.

for entertainment purposes, I think big George was the best. He always said some funny sh!t.
from an Analyst standpoint, I think Roy was by far the best they had. He had a lot of insight into fights and several times would predict things as the fight went along. Very knowledgeable about the sport...........the only issue was his pensacola accent!! :D
Stewart is pure garbage! in both entertainment and analyst standpoints! Sorry

Manny is by far the best of the 3.
I remember in the first Mosley/ODH fight - the whole HBO staff was bashing everyone and their mother because Shane won the fight -but the very next week - Foreman was the first ass kisser when they brought Shane back on for an interview.
Roy was pretty good - until he started getting KO'ed. After that - you could hear the lack of confidence when he would speak about what was going on in the ring.
Manny was good then and he's still good now.

They're different type of commentators.
Foreman was more of an entertainment guy with some good calls and a lot of bad ones. Jones and Emmanuel are more the technical kind of commentators, which is what you'd like next to Lampley & Merchant.
I like all three of them in a different way. They all have their downsides: Foreman can be a bit annoying with his bad advice (repeating on how Lewis should go to the jab when he was destroying Grant), Jones when he egotrips and Steward can be a little bit boring.

George Foreman, absolutely, positively, 100%.
Can't even understand RJJ's eubonic's & as far as Manny making a "smart" statement...Heres something he once said:
He's definitely the slowest fighter I've ever SAW.

That was when I finally respected Roy as a commentator. He is one of my favorite fighters ever, but that night he got my respect from behind the microphone. The thing that makes it even better, is that he was ABSOLUTELY correct in his assesment.
Larry's response : "well roy, we can agree to disagree without pulling rank"
AHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Roy was always dead-on with his analysis of the fights. He used to predict shit that happened exactly as he said, like "he's gonna get caught with a left hook if he's not careful...." and then 1 round later, Bam! a left hook puts him out :deal

Please dont mention that clowns name EVER AGAIN..
You want ratings to drop??
Who would respect Tarvers opinion??Eventhough he would most probably have alot of knowledge of the fightgame i still wouldnt want to hear any of it..
Iron mike is the man people should be chasing. He has shitloads of knowledge and i would respect his opinions.Plus love him or hate him people wanna hear what he has to say..
Would be great for him to interview fighters after their bouts.

Mike Tyson has fucked up every single thing he has ever done in life....what makes you think he would be able to succeed as a commentator? Or even show up to work on time or at all?

Im not sure if he would turn up or that he would succeed. But give him a go..He does have alot of knowledge of the fightgame and would be a huge figure to have part of the commentry team.
I would rather listen to him than the likes of Merchant or Lennox Lewis to be honest.Great boxer but just doesnt cut it as a commentator/t.v personality.

Foreman, than Jones, whats funny is that Manny know a whole lot but is very biased in sane fights. Aside from the the Hopkins- Trinidad, Foreman wasnt really a nuthugger or hater, he was just funny and spared with Merchant a whole lot which made it even better.

Foreman LOVED De La Hoya. He was biased in general.
Foreman was also obvious in rooting for Hamed over Barrera.
He was comedy though.
Lampley: Kathy Duva is telling Fernando Vargas to take the full five minutes to recover from the low blow.
Foreman: Can you imagine a woman is giving instructions?

1st: Foreman
Pro: Is the best in terms of entertainment value. He has the best voice for it as well. Former boxer so the knowledge in the ring is there.
Con: Can be biased, sometimes gives an incorrect input.
2nd: Roy
Pro: Technical, Usually accurate, Somewhat entertaining, His prescence is a good balance to Larry Merchant.
Con: Ego trip.....i.e Trinidad Wright "well he never looks strong to me..." After Winky's corner told winky that [tito] doesnt look strong tonight.
3rd Manny
Pro: Tells it like it is, sound input and vast knowledge.
Con: Voice can be monotone, can be biased.

Write your will out, he'll say it during the next fight he broadcasts.
At least you won't have to kill yourself on the 29th, because he's training and not commentating.

Jones provided good insight. He always had to talk about himself, but for the most part he was good and was the least biased of the 3, and I preferred his commentary over the other 2.
Foreman occassionally provided good insight, while sometimes you wondered what he was on. He was usually entertaining though for the humor and bizarre factor.

RJ was like nostradamus when commentating. He really impressed me with his foresight, shows that he did know a lot about boxing, and he wasnt just an athletic freak

1. Foreman. I remember when Vladimir got his assed rocked by Sanders. Until that point Merchant and Lampley were kissing K's ass big time. When he got knocked out and severely hurt, George said "ya'll are the ones who pumped this guy up. "

3 Different styles and most entertaining views on boxing:
1. Manny Steward - The Supreme Insider, beats Teddy by a mile in which concerns to know how and way to express that know how in sober mood and proper spoken english
2. Foreman - Major Entertainer, great vocals yes and excellent timing on the developing and unfolding of the action, big smile, nice guy, and a an icon in boxing.
3. RJJ - The coolest speaker of them all, as swift blasting out technicalities as he used to use them to fight, and also a great icon to have beside ya.
So my vote goes for "The Word" in boxing - Larry Merchant, exquisite analyst and the biggest icon in Boxing today, even more than ODLH and PBF, also a major pain the rear for most and that's why I love him, as cynical as it can be possible Hell yeah... Lampley is a retard and is miles behind Steve Albert and who knows how to roar, great compliments to Al Bernstein and Burt Sugar for insightful analysis 2!

He has many great ones.
"The referee is the most important guy in the ring, besides the two fighters"
Also one i liked was i think after Ruiz-Jones, Foreman was going on his usual bullshit "i should fear you now, Jim" and Lampley called his bluff. I thought that was pretty funny.
