Seeing stars?

Hi, I caught a sturdy overhand right to the top of my head sparring yesterday (with 220 pounds of Turk beef behind it), stars flashed before my eyes, and I was dizzy for a few seconds:!: . I felt just fine after a minute or so, and kept going.

It was quite different from knockdowns/brownouts from hits to the chin/ear area which I have experienced earlier though.

Anyone care to enlighten me on the different mechanisms here?
