i think we can say that kessler has shown he got balls the size of coconuts!
ever since he smashed up manny siaca and became wba champ he has been fighting his mandatories : mundine former wba champ fighting in aussie, eric lucas former wbc champ, marcus Beyer at the time wbc champ, librado andrade top 5 challenger. and now he he goes to wales and takes on calzaghe in his own backyard! all the above were or are top 10 ringmagazine fighters! in my opinion he has been doing everything right so fare but i guess some of the jc nutthuggers see it diffrent?:think

his last 6 fights: he has won 2 belts and is now fighting jc for 2 more.
2 times away from home! fucking awsome!
please agree with me when i say jc hasnt been taking on the same amount of challenge! maybe in all of his fights but not in the short time kessler has. think about what kessler can acomplice if he beats jc and continues this way!

Siaca, Lucas and Andrade are similiar to the type of fighters Calzaghe has been criticized for fighting his whole career, Mundine is a very respectable win and the fashion in which he beat Beyer was also VERY impressive. Hes took the hardest fights available to him though, which i respect him for.

Well, I recall in the 70s'...There was Leonard/ Duran/ HAgler/ Hearns/ and the Italian boy...Vito.
Other than them and MAYBE Cuevas, everyone was a bum
I recall also Howard Cossells' trash talk of Quarry, and he practically called him a bum...So it's the same today...Super midds..LAcy ( still very good ) Joe/Kessler/Bute..and now MAYBE Green..the rest are dis-regarded, just like back then...Some things never change:-(

Manfredo was not ranked at all at 168
Stop lying:lol:
In fact arround the time when the Manfredo - Calzaghe fight was announce suddently Manfredo got into the 10th. spot on The Ring rankings. After he lost to Calzaghe he was out of the top 10 again. Strange really.

Fuck you're an idiot.
Manfredo got to 10th on the back of some good performances, including beating a perrenial fighter in Pemberton who yes, was past his best but still represented as good a win for Manfredo as anyone Andrade, Bute (until he fought Bika) and Berrio had faced.
Manfredo dropped out of the Top 10 because he was beaten clearly.
The same reason that despite Mundine having three losses in his career, despite him never holding and defending a title and despite him never defeating anyone of any real note - he went to #3 almost immediately after Lacy lost to Calzaghe
Why? Cause Calzaghe thrashed Lacy all about the ring and dropped him two to four places.
Please remind me how many world titles Pemberton won during his glorious career?
You are so deluded, you praise Pemberton because it suits your purpose and call a guy like Lucas a "never-was"!:-(
Let me see if I have understood you correctly, a win over Pemberton is a fantastic thing, but wins over Siaca, Mundine, Beyer and Andrade are nothing special, because all these guys were either shot, never-were's or never will be's. Well, I guess that is what I should expect from a guy who thinks Manfredo will be a future SMW worldchampion.:nut

Lucas is a shit fighter for Kessler, a two belt champion - to be promoting as a tough fighter in his reign.
However, Kessler is #2 - Manfredo was #10 - as such, beating a guy like Pemberton who had just been in a title fight, the fight before against Jeff Lacy - gives him a good performance, considering Manfredo had only had around 25 fights when he beat Pemberton - a class of fighter that Kessler didn't even go near until 34-36 fights, that should tell you something, bucko
But it doesn't matter, come November 3rd - it doesn't matter, Calzaghe is going to stomp the fucking shit out of Kessler and then all of you idiotic little chucklefucks can go back to the woods where you belong.
All this anger....:huh
U must have some severe personal issues, mate.
And u are utterly wrong and strangely in love with Peter Manfredo Jr. :!:
I repeat. Peter Manfredo Jr.
The guy is a natural LMW and u praise him at 168 because of Pemberton. Actually the only thing that Manfredos win over Pemberton does - is make Lacy's win look embarrasing....

Well, I'm going nowhere whether or not Calzaghe wins, because unlike you I will not be running away with my tail behind my legs, which is what I expect you will do if Kessler wins.;) I will instead be one of the first to congratulate the winner, no matter who, as long as the win is fair.
Well, now the insults are out of the way, I just want to mention that Kessler was not a two belt holder when he faced Lucas, if that was what you meant.
Finally, I can definately see Calzaghe winning this fight (not as easily as you though:lol: ), but he will not stomp anything out of Kessler I can promise you that. If Calzaghe wins, it will be on points, and the points win will be smaller than it was against Lacy. Personally, I still see this fight as an almost 50-50 fight.

A natural LMW that started out at MW? Get some fucking facts.
And Lacy's win over Pemberton was embarrassing, I said as soon as Manfredo had beaten Pemberton that Lacy was in even huger trouble against Calzaghe.
Well, a natural middleweight then. But the dude is too short and fat too play any part at 168 anyway. Hell, Ill take todays Beyer over Manfredo any day.

Here are 15 names of SMW's who would easily beat Manfredo (the future world champ:rofl ):
-Calzaghe (Has already beaten him and will do it again and again)
-Kessler
-Mundine (If he regains his sight:? )
-Bute
-Lacy (When he gets back ofcourse, though I expect that he will "flee" to LHW)
-Green (I was really looking forward to see Manfredo getting stopped again but unfortunately the fight was cancelled)
-Bika
-Andrade
-Inkin
-Beyer
-Tsypko
-Pascal
-Froch
-Larsen
-Dirrell
There are probably more but I just mentioned the guys that would beat him for sure.

Joke trained by Freddy Roach who has beaten some relatively accomplished fighters and was world rated before the Contender?
You get in the fucking ring with Calzaghe or Mora and see how you fare.
I didn't know you had to be a boxer to be able to talk about and rate boxers.:huh I guess, that must mean that you are a fantastic boxer since you trashtalk Kessler all the time (wasn't it eurotrash you called not long ago?). Yes, you are probably a fantastic good looking boxer/writer with a fantastic sixpack.:rofl

well i win and lose either way as i stated many times i am equally fans of both since i come from Oz.
but one thing i will enjoy is seeing how the hardcore calzaghe fans react if he loses. i've come to the realization that while both camps are getting more heated in their arguments, some of the calzaghe followers like blocky are getting very vicious in defending their fighter. i dont see the same kind of venom as much from the kessler side. not sure why.
maybe it's the fact kessler hasn't been around as long as calzaghe or accomplished as much yet. therefore he hasn't built up as big a fanbase which in turn always includes more hardcore fans etc.
reading the forums after the fight will be entertainment as well!

The most venomous thing they've done is attempt to paint Andrade into some great fighter that has a chance against the Lacy's and Mundine's of the world.
Who has said that? It sounds like one more of your made up lies, but perhaps I'm wrong.

For what its worth I dont think Andrades as bad as Kessler made him look.
If you think about it, he has a granite chin, proven heart and some power, so despite being no world beater and a tad one dimensional, only good boxers would be able to beat him imo.

I'm not really a Calzaghe lover, I'm just sick of people discrediting his performances in the ring and equally as sick at seeing people rate Kessler as any chance to beat this guy.
I'm sick, not because I dislike Kessler - more so because I dislike the fact that apparently, according to his fans, Kessler has the same handspeed, is a way taller fighter, has more stamina, is ten times the puncher, etc etc.
What I tend to notice is Kessler fans talk a bunch of shit, don't know boxing at all and can't analyse a fight to save themselves.
My analysis of this fight have been the best on this entire site, time and time again - I can analyse how Joe will win. I can state what Kessler will try to do, time and time again, my analysis remains the best on site
What do we get in return? "LOL, KESSLER IS YOUNGER AND WILL WIN"
That's why I get 'vicious' - quite frankly, if you're that fucking moronic that you can't back a boxer with proper analysis - Fuck off.
we all remember your so called analysis of how mutch money this fight could generate! and we all remember your statements of how big a joke the kessler camp were for demanding 4-5 mill $
i guess kessler are glad u are not his manager, the big fantastic boxingprofessor Blocky:lol:

The bad thing for Kessler was really Mads Larsen. Too bad Larsen got the fight against Sven Ottke. Since the Siaca fight you can not put a finger on Kesslers resume. I think he has taken some chances and he is confident about the fight against Calzaghe as well.
In fact it doesn't matter who he has fought before, it doesn't matter who is better Andrade or Lacy, in fact I would like to see that fight for sure Lacy would be the strong favorite but he has to do better than against Veit.
In Blocky's world everything is black or white. This is not the case in boxing.
And I dont really think that you get that much recognision here on ESB for your views. Your socalled analyses are so flawed and biased that it is totally wrong to start any discussion with you.
But I have one question. How high possibility do you think Calzaghe has of beating Kessler?
Kessler's last 5 opponents have probably been slightly better (overall) than Calzaghe but i think we can all agree that both fighters haven't fought A1 class guys in the last 5 fights each................. Maybe Mundine did have the potential but apart from that all the rest were B+ fighters at best.
Calzaghe's Last 5 opponents:
Manfredo- nobody
Bika- solid fighter
Lacy- IBF Champ
Ashira- who? now fightin in LMW
Veit- Stiff, slow German hype
Kessler's last 5 opponents:
Andrade- at the time no 1 in WBC
Beyer- WBC champ
Lucas- former Champ
Mundine-at the time no 1 in WBA, current ranked no 3 in the world
Siaca- WBA champ
IT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!!!!!!!

Well regardings Joe's resume ...sure he could have done better but you know it takes 2 to make a match (actually 4 :deal ). My issue with Joe isn't the Fighters he's fought it's the way the matches have been dealt with ....quite a few have been out of the Circus. (but then again it takes 2 to tango)
