According to Ash , Waters is world class with a better record than Cotto and this fight is yet another example of how Mundine will only fight the best of the best! Ash is further of the view that if Mundine wins it will rank alongside his victory over Rico Chong Nee as the best in his illustrious career!

i would'nt consider otki(never fought outside of europe), siaka or kessler(struggeling in the super 6 at the moment against the top american's) world class at all. world class compared to the pretender though.

Ottke WAS defo World class , Siaca was world class at one time and as for the Kessler struggling in the Super six comment ? ( watch Kessler v Froch ) that should change your mind on that one . Kessler imo will WIN the Super Six .

I dont know what World class is if Ottke and Kessler dont make the grade :patsch

If they dont make it then I guess we only have 40 or 50 world class fighters in the world :admin

It's not a mismatch at all. Ryan has a helluva chance imo.

It just shouldn't be a ppv. I wont be paying to watch that's for sure.

Treat it as as a local fight (that's Mundine's level anyway) and it's not a bad fight.

People need to forget Mundine is anything but a domestic level fighter at 154.

The pubs and clubs may do better than usual out of this one. Afterall, who's going to pay $50 for it at home.

Jet, are you suggesting Mandy has actually fought at 154??

Yep... Waters is a close option to KO Mandy...

But who wants to see a *COUGH* LIVING LEGEND get KO'd at the close of his Briliant career???

Really.:huh

For real mate. I always preface any predictions over Mundine with "as long as Mundine makes weight". That applies here of course because the drama queen has a convenient set of scales. But if he is close to 154 that will do.

Why wouldn't Waters be a chance?....Mundine was dog shit against that welterweight kid from Sth America. Ryan will be much stronger than him and that gives him a shot.

His more recent fights haven't been too crash hot but if he can get himself in top shape and find a bit of spark, he can do some damage.

Mundine at 54 is rubbish.

I just popped in a post and then read this. I think it's safe to say he has never weighed 154 in his life.

Their ya go. :good

LOL.

I think people need to forget about Mundine being a world class fighter when he is clearly not these days and treat him as a local fighter.

If you get your head around that, this isn't a bad fight. It just should not be on ppv. That's the only problem with it.

As a matchup, it's a good one.

Totally agree..

Although on a higher scale, Im still of the mind that Green is worth a lazy $50 to see in a genuine war. He still has the fight in him and the chance to provide said match.

Completely agree. I'm hoping Waters is at longgggg odds for it, might be worth a punt. He'll be the stronger fighter in there. Leapai should be on the undercard again, if all goes well with Owen Beck.

I'm with ya, but who is there for him in on the local front?

Green would hammer Cameron. Cameron looks done imo. Too slow, Green would eat him although it might be fun for a round or two.

Someone said Vea - Danny would bash him and stop him inside 4 rounds for mine. He's not ready for someone as experienced as Danny.

Perhaps Authorities wil look beyond the Oz shores??
Perhaps Authorities will hold a degree of ammunition when sanctions are obtained/questioned?

Anyone extending Green past 6 rounds may well be in tune to close the machine down.

There's a lot more than Team Green's reputation on the line next time..
