Does ITV's deal go on as long as 14th of July ? , or have they this agreed aside to that ?
Or am I totally out of the loop and a new deal has been signed ?

Nah, you are not totally out of the loop Bigears. I too am wondering if this fight is going to be on ITV at all, & by that I mean ITV1 OR ITV4.

i read somewhere that setanta and bbc were keeping an eye on the situation as they are both keen to sign amir khan.
i don't know where the cardiff show would end up though

Kahn at this moment would be stupid to go to setanta.
If he is any good, it would be a lot wiser to stay on terrestrial, at this early stage of his career.
2 weeks to go and a tv deal hasn't been negotiated yet. i bet itv just want the july shows, but ****** is probably trying to commit them to another year or two.

Still nothing on ITV's boxing schedule.
I really hope something is worked out (especially if the Beeb got it...)
I don't want to miss this card, looks a good one.

ITV probably want some big time fights to be made before they commit for more years, since FW signed with them there has been an awful lot of poor cards.

Yeah If was at ITV I'd either try to get frank to commit to a rolling contract or insist on some input into the match making.

Maybe FW has been talking about hooking up with Hatton again because he needs something else to get the ITV contract..

All the talk about working on future fights with Hatton sounds about as convincing as the mythical heavyweight title shot he promise's after every fight.
He's talking big in order to get the contract, once he does i have no doubt we will be back to the usual piss poor cards we have got used to over the past few years.
