He's doing some charity speech / lunch in sydney and melbourne, tix are like $300 per person! this is a bit steep for me, but does anyone know if we can meet him anywhere else?

i read in the paper that he wanted to visit some boxing gyms while in oz, so keep an eye out, he might rock up at your gym!

he ko'ed Mundine in 3 rounds in the game, and Mundine's fate would have been the same in real life.

ANTHONY Mundine stole a little of Sugar Ray Leonard's thunder in Sydney yesterday to announce he will bow to pressure and fight Daniel Geale in a rematch of the IBO middleweight world title won in controversial circumstances in Brisbane in May.
The much-anticipated re-match decision follows an appeal by Geale's camp over the close defeat. The IBO has ordered the fight must take place before February 27 or Mundine faces being stripped of the title.
"There are a few money issues that still need to be resolved. It should take place in early February, but just where is another sticking point," Mundine said after welcoming Leonard to Sydney for a series of charity fund raisers and the launch of a new video game.
"Geale's a Tasmanian. It could be there. Right now it is just a matter of negotiating the best deal for both of us. But I believe the Geale camp see me as some sort of a cash cow."
Mundine won a split decision over Geale but Geale lodged a protest claiming the judges did not score a knockdown, and that a Mundine supporter verbally intimidated a a judge.
Leonard said he rated Mundine alongside some of the greats of the 1980s like Tommy Hearns and Marvin Hagler.
"I fight those guys who I consider great," Leonard said.
"Except one guy here I call 'The Poof'

So find someone.

What kind of promotor would put Mundine on any show O/S just to see him fight easy??

Khoder does it here because the pig has no fucking self respect or concern about the endless shit cans he puts infront of Mundine.... its about $$$$.. nothing else.

Would file that one away as either an absolute 'sell out' comment from someone trying to sell computer games or simply just plain poor comedy.

Hearns would KO Anth early and Hagler would have just spanked him until he got sick of it, then finished him. Leonard himself would have toyed with Mundine. Much like he did with Roberto Duran in their second bout, when Duran quit.

I believe ESBF's own 'Duke' interviewed Sugar Ray for Channel 9. Heard the promo for it but unfortunately missed the interview.

If you're out there Duke, how did it go?
